To each & everyone who says they "need" a Wall-Through-Walls cheat:

The main reason why this kind of cheat is hunted in v1.0.0 is exploration. The issue is that by the time the next version of an RPG rolls around (in this case Pokémon Sword/Shield), the game has been full explored. (In addition to this, there was no exploration required for either of the expansion areas. Both the Crown Tundra & Isle of Armor are FULLY traversable once visited.)

There is no more locations left to explore by abusing Out-of-Bounds. This is not like older games where the entire map isn't connected (like in the original Sinnoh games where you could walk through out-of-bounds to encounter Legendaries.) So, you are asking a code hunter to hunt a code that is effectively useless to the masses.

You will find this with a lot of cheat codes (especially for RPGs) that provide "short-cuts" in the first weeks of game's release. It's not uncommon for code hunters to not keep up with the updates because of the drastic drop in interest on top of the underline expectation if they hunt it once they will be expected do so for every future update.

It is your opinion, but it is not necessarily that of everyone.

This code may seem as unnecessary to someone as a "change the nature of a Pokémon" code to others. Most of the cheat codes created for Sword Shield are features that can be done in 2 clicks on PkHex. Nobody is going to create strategic Pokémon directly in the game with cheat codes, everyone does it via PkHex because in addition to that, you have to modify the EVs, the capacities, etc.

So we can say that all these cheat codes are also useless, and that the "code hunters" get tired for nothing. A "walk through walls" code, on the other hand, is unique and impossible to do via other software. This code has been around since the 1st generation of Pokémon and has always been used by people, not only to move faster in games, but also to discover small hidden places, behind simple inaccessible doors for example.

And I think that if so many people have already requested it since the release of version 1.2 and still ask for it regularly today, it is because it is very important and is more appreciated than you think ;)

Having said that, I understand your opinion and respect it.

Good night!

After a week of release, there have been no notible bugs discovered in v1.3.0. The only bug is tied to online battling not permitted transfered Pokémon to have their Hidden Abilities. This legality check is MOST likely on the server-side for the downloaded rules and very unlikely to do with v1.3.0.

This may be the last version update to Pokémon Sword & Shield (assuming there are no more Expansion Passes announced.) While we are still awaiting the Pokémon Go/Pokémon Home integration to be launched later this year, this feature should be handled entirely with updates to Pokémon Home.

*fingers crossed*
v1.3.0 may end up being the FINAL version of the games.

We are about a week in and most (if not all) of the codes that I saw posted/ported to v1.2.1 have found their way to v1.3.0. There's only a handful codes (from older versions or for features new in v1.3.0) being spoken about currently so it's likely going to slow down on the new code seen.

(I still need to confirm the "currency" doesn't decrease group of codes for the main. There's a handful of codes which require a far less story complete save than I have available. If nothing new pops up in the coming week or two I will start expanding the encounter list for encounter mod code.)

I think that if so many people have already requested it
There's no doubt there always be a cheat code that doesn't exist and people who wish it did. The Wall-Through-Walls was present on the GameGenie for RPG's since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment system. It's in no way the exclusive territory of the Pokémon franchise. I am not discounting there are a handful of people who want the code.

I wanted to share a point of view and context. Since I have been the one whose maintained the threads for the individual version threads since v.1.1.0 on this website, I see the numbers of views of those threads, I have a pretty decent perspective of what kind of percentage that camp is in.

I just do not want people to get their hopes up with THEY THEMSELVES are not willing to learn to produce the code. :)

Ha guess that explains why I couldn't get it to work. Only thing I was trying to do with it was to unlock the full bike upgrades early since manually adding them in PKHeX did not work.

@serenity42 just a head's up since this reason comes up way too often:
As I mentioned in the previous game, the entire map of the game is one COMPLETE map. The timed events on the map are cheat protected / player going the wrong way with Event Flags.

With out the Event Flag for beating the first Gym, you will not find him on the map to give you the bicycle. The same is said with the surf upgrade following the post sixth Gym rematch with Hop. (These areas are accessible as a matter of fact prior to these Event Flags being triggered so you can see the Bicycle Guy's absence even without the out-of-bounds cheats.)

(If you want to power through the story mode, the Dynamax Adventure Pokémon are Lv. 65 and for whatever reason bypass the Gym Badge level caps. And since you only use Rental Pokémon for the Dynamax Adventure, you don't have to train at all to beat it. It's just silly!)

Lots of codes added to the main page EVERYONE!!!!!

Just in case anyone is curious, I always test in Shield since our hunters like to hunt in Sword. I copy their codes as well as a +0x30 shifted code (in case it is a code that is different between the versions.) If the Sword code works on Shield, then simple: it's the same for both versions.

There's still so much more to test! (I do not have a save to verify the Judge App unlock ~ just use Capture Sight homebrew app until you get to the Battle Tower in post game.)

@SkyQueen & @Falo ,

There are 3 big items we do not have that are very much a priority for most players:
  • Encounter Level Modifier (at very least a code for Lv. 70 as there are lot players attempting to use codes for Galarian Kanto Birds)
  • Re-Catch Codes for the Legendary Pokemon (see below)
  • ... of course: Shiny Dynamax Adventure Pokemon (the datamine team seems to think that shiny is only stars at this point)

In terms of the recatch codes, I mapped all the event flags (as they appear in a save file loaded by PKHeX):

ElbYmFTU0AYeQdq

When the Boolean value is set to "Bool1" (from "Bool2"), it makes it so the player can once again catch a previously caught Legendary in the Dynamax Adventures!

You two have done a lot already! Don't burn yourselves out! I am sure people can wait!!! :D
And even if no more new codes come... you two have been amazing!
Ok got it working the rebattle dynamax legend codes :)

Code:
[ReCapture Entei Dynamax]
01100000 50AD77D0 00000000

[ReCapture Entei Dynamax Off]
01100000 50AD77D0 00000001

Give this a shot.

Interesting and good to know I guess. Even though the story of these games isn't that great I enjoy replaying them with new teams especially when the DLC for these have come out and it's nice to replay but still have endgame stuff too. Not going to lie, primary reason is just because I love the isle of armor bike so much more than the default one. Hopefully future games will have better looking bikes by default lol. Or better yet, bring back riding pokemon like LGPE. Riding on my Arcanine instead of a bike was awesome.

Voila! This works. 1 down... 46 to go. (I assume this was on Sword? If so, its the same on both Sword & Shield.)

This is incredible! I will warm up the front page for this new section!

im making them now :) i got like 35 ish done

Do you know who legend 46 is?

@SkyQueen, at the moment, we are working from the presumption that this left behind code from a Legendary that GameFreak scraped during development. Kurt & co from the PKHeX team is pretty sure that's the case.

There's a chance that's a hidden Legendary but so far there's no indication that is anything more than rumors. (The reason why these rumors are persiting is that people are convinced there must be a Victini encounter the game.)

I can tell you that I have been testing the Dynamax Adventures via the pathway codes ("jotted down Legendaries") in PKHeX that there is an anti-cheat mechanic in the game.

upload_2020-10-28_19-55-4.png

(Before I forget the value stored in the Int32 is just the Global PokéDex number of the Legendary.)

The anti-cheat mechanic reviews your 3 pathways from your save and/or memory upon the game's load and/or talking to the Adventures' Lady. The anti-cheat mechanic checks the 3 PokéDex numbers against a LEGAL LEGENDARY LIST (somewhere in the game's code.)

If you set Legendary Pokémon that is not on that list, the anti-cheat erases the entry and sets the value to 0 (which the game handles as no pathway existing.)

If you can find said LEGAL LEGENDARY LIST (somewhere in the game's code), you would be able to verify if that list has 47 or if there actually is a 48th Legendary Pokémon hidden away behind a currently unknown Event Flag.

01100000 5A0D8090 00000000

[Rematch Poipole? Off]
01100000 5A0D8090 00000001

I already tested plugging Poipole & Naganadel into the encounters which did not work. It's possible this ID might have been used as the Event Flag for the Gift Poipole that you are given in the Max Lair (there's an Event Flag of catch 5 Ultra Beasts that spawns the Gift Poipole event.)

I will test that in a bit.

(In terms of the OTHER Legendaries in the Crown Tundra, I know everyone would love codes to reset the Event Flags for the Static Encounters of the Regi's, Galarian Birds, and Calyrex. However, I cannot offer anything more then creating a lot of save files of before and after captures. Let me know if you want to persue this.)

I am happy my persistence with PKHeX lead to codes. It doesn't seem like there's any rush at the PKHeX's team to make the Event Flags easier to edit than having to have all the "PKHeX Datablock ID" to search for the flags. Oi.

Hey all!

The usage of these codes is simple. Activate the codes, save the game, restart the game.

The "Caught" makes the Pokémon flagged as caught. If complete Dynamax Adventure with a Legendary that the event flag is set to "Caught" at the top of your party, Peon's daughter will offer you that Path (so this is a way of setting the Path until we have codes.) ... then once the Path is available you can set that Legendary back to "Uncaught".

The Poipole Gift requires you to catch 5 Ultra Beasts SO you can set 4 to caught then catch the 5th to spawn the Poipole Gift event. This event is NOT dynamic so once triggered... it's just there. (AKA once your make Poipole appear if you reset the UBs back to 0 caught... Poipole will still be there waiting for you!!

Code:
[Dynamax Path Mod Slot 1]

[Dynamax Path Mod Slot 2]
02100000 50B122B0 00000XXX

[Dynamax Path Mod Slot 3]

XXX = Pokemon National Dex number in Hex

This only allows the changing of whatever legendaries are available in Dynamax Adventure

I will test these immediately!!

The main page was updated! All 47 different Legendary for each of the 3 paths as individual codes!!!! (The code itself works however if any on the front page do not it is because I entered on of the Dex Numbers incorrect which is an easy fix.)

That's it for me and not actually playing the game tonight!

@SkyQueen if you somehow get bored... it seems that the PKHeX integer for the Spiritomb encounter is Block Data 31A13425 (according to the other thread.) You need to set the value to 32 for the encounter then re-load the map by flying back & forth or setting up a tent via the Camp button.

(I honestly wasn't expecting so much progress made this fast. We are Event Flags and Shiny Dynamax Adventures away from having most of v1.3.0 solved. We are getting to the point where cheats might be faster than PKHeX. *mind blown*)

Thank you! However, although I could rematch, I couldn't catch it. Is there any timing to turn on the code? The slot cord worked well.
