Homebrew WIP EdiZon SE : Advance memory trainer and pointer seacher for switch

Do this: open a game, without exiting open edizon-se then close it and close also the game, now open edizonse again and only one game save will show up, press down button and go to cheats, a message will appear saying that there isn't a game running, press "B" to close edizonse and reopen it from hbmenu, all the saves will be present now.

@TomSwitch if you like the way it is, good for you but for me would be better to always show all the saves when launching it with no open games. Maybe a new little flag for this? Also would be nice if the updater could pull the configurations needed for editing save files. Just my opinions...

I am using 10.2 14.4 E.
Try this, I reverted a change I made between 3.7.1->3.7.2
The change in your game save database is probably the trigger of the problem you experienced.
You can also try running your game with a different user profile.

it's ok i will work with 3.7.1 i can find pointers thats what i want most.

you said maybe it could be a save database .
Of console or edizon? will give it a try

The version showing inside is not the same when you highlight edizon from hbl!

The original was using json file to define VERSION_STRING which I only changed to using header file recently. Files using the VERSION_STRING won't be recompiled if they weren't changed but moving forward since VERSION_STRING is in the header file all that uses the header file will get recompiled.
The cheat gui is probably always changed so what is shown by the cheat gui is probably always correct while about screen and game save screen is showing the old version string due to this.

The change from 3.7.1 to 3.7.2 is very little. If you are curious take a look. https://github.com/tomvita/EdiZon-SE/commit/3282efde83306916fbe4c48cea668d092eb98e07. @KamelColtd leaving no stone unturned I have this version reverting everything I changed between the two version. It make no sense now, but in debugging sometimes this type of action is needed. Barking up the wrong tree until the right one comes along.

Binary compare shows that it is different from the one on github, this could be caused by libnx update. If this one don't work libnx change may be the trigger not the code change between the two version.

i checked the compare between 3.7.1 and other releases i don't really know what happen but i find out there is no much editing i just wonder why this happen .. i will test both now i hope it works

This msg always appears when running 3.7.7 till leatest one but not always some times it show me all games some times just the msg.

i erased all saves including edizon saves backup but same msg appear !

at less it works great for cheating but no more game saves manager ... thank you

Ok i find out how to fix it
What happen :-
after erasing all saves and users when i open edizonse it show me a msg no games or saves etc...
.
(normally it's true coz i faced this problem before and i had to open each game once to make it appear in edizon)

i moved to edizon main folder and removed seconfig.dat file ...

now it show me the green UI after picking the settings when i click (A) it stuck and i have to press power for sec's and tried again this time with full ram acsess it works no stuck or crashes
((((the other version not stuck or crashs at all at this point))))
.. but the msg " no game or saves found .... etc " appears again ...
the problem is "seconfig.dat"
i remove it again and everything works very great but i must do that always if i want to backup saves or restore or editing save game

Last thing when removing seconfig.dat i must face the UI again when i want to start searching for cheats and this will create seconfig.dat .. thats it

fix Super Mario™ 3D All-Stars game save not showing up

For Super Mario™ 3D All-Stars when one of the game is running the title id seen by cheat gui is not the same as the one use with game save. This cause the game save to not show up when last played game save is suppose to show up in earlier release.

Game with unsupported save type ( for example Animal Crossing™: New Horizons ) will be reported as not found with a different error message. Relaunching will display all game saves instead of staying at the not found screen.

Provided option to opt for all game save to be displayed all the time. To enable create /switch/EdiZon/showallsaves.txt.

PS: Showing only the save of last game cheat gui saw is intended feature. For user with many game saves showing all game saves makes locating the one being worked on a chore.
I understand some user would prefer to see all game save and now you have that option.

"No games or saves found on this system please press b to exit." should only appear with very few games, Super Mario™ 3D All-Stars and Animal Crossing™: New Horizons being the two known ones. 16b will crash if you launch it while these two are running and you don't have the noicon.txt. The msg no game or save game appears when i open edizon only, i mean without running any game.

it works very perfect when i open it along with any game no problems at all .

yesterday i download 3.7.17 but the old problem comes up "no icon no game name (when there is a game running)/ crashes when ever clicking Y to start search"


in 3.7.1 it works no matter if there is a game running or not.

3.7.16b showing msg no game or saves found on this system please press B to exit edizon when trying to open it without running any game.

if you mean this can be for some games ... i will check each of and find out which one cases this problem.

i run both 16b + 17
16b showing the msg we all know " no games or saves"

17 just works perfect
but crashes when clicking Y to search for cheats beside no game icon or title

But noexes used along with pc ?

Launching of app that force load dmnt:cht will still crash the switch if noexs is attached to the game process. No solution for this one yet.

so i think dmnt not the problem in my case
coz my setup to always no auto attach dmnt but even i will try .

after 1 or 2 month i update my atmosphere 0.14.4 and edizon se 3.7.17 and my problem again is always activate cheat by default i forgot my setting about this
