I have a couple games that do not work, but i heard that maybe some of them could be fixed with hermes, or using a different cios. So, can anyone give me a list of what games on wii need what cios? Like cios 249, 250, or something else.
Note that the list is community made and is bound to be outdated or have some errors. Also, I found that list with a google search "wii game cios compatibility"Thank you. This tells me that the games that are not working are probably because they are bad rips.
I've got my Wii setup with a 2tb HDD with over 750 Wii games.. only ciso I use is d2x ciso beta 52 (base 56 & 57)Good news! the games work! all but one started to work after i got the new cios! Afterwords, i figured that the game i was having trouble with was a bad dump, as all others either worked with 249, or 250. So, i guess i will be making a new dump of that.
Saying "249" or "250" or "222" is not right, as you can install anything in all these slots.
what's important is the "base" and "version".
Most game will work fine with "d2x v8 base57"
only some game will require specific and different base (and you install it where YOU want).
So, I'm pretty sure that list is more what you asked for :

And for Channels on emuNAND:

And if you don't understand what I'm talking about, and you want to learn more about slot and base, I recommend this one :

I wrote another guide, but this one seems to be liked by a lot of users for its simplicity to understand.
Thanks a lot! This "wii" be very helpful for it. While the game compativatity is useful, this will help a lot more. Though, i already know iOS bases and stuff.
Since my cousins play just dance, i guess i install the base iOS 57 to the iOS 249. What about the other games though?
Also, what about the cios d2x v10 r52? There are a lot of guides that use this one. Your the only that i have seen who recommended v8?
There are maybe some Wii/USB Device (mainly USB Sticks and their Relatives...) "Configuration/Setups",it can happen there, some Games works with v8 and gives a Black Screen/Throwback to the Homebrew Channel with v10.Oof. ok. thanks.
