Activate the "Enable game patching" option on Luma's config menu, then (if you don't have activated, of course). This option is needed in order to use the amiibo emulation.

I edited the wumiibo.ini provided on the GitHub repository, but when I put the wumiibo.ini on the SD Card, the menu repeatedly opens up until I close the app. This happens with L R SELECT and L R SELECT UP. What can I do about it?

I think this may have been the file from the repo after editing it with vim, because I did not back it up.

What is this?
This is a nfc-module rewrite with the aim of amiibo emulation for 3ds.

How to Use?
Make sure you use the latest luma version!

• Get the module from https://github.com/hax0kartik/wumiibo/releases
• Extract the zip to `/luma/titles`
• Enable Title Patching from luma menu
• Use https://hax0kartik.github.io/amiibo-generator/ to produce wumiibo compatible amiibo bins.(You can also use amiitool to decrypt your encrypted bins and then use the decrypted bins with wumiibo) and put the bins in `sd:/wumiibo` you can also create subfolders within `sd:/wumiibo`
• Open your game.
• To verify whether wumiibo loaded, open up rosalina, go to process list, and check whether it mentions a process named as "wumiibo".
• Reach to the screen where the game tells you to place the amiibo
  
• Press `L+DOWN+START` to bring up wumiibo menu.
• Select your amiibo and then Press A
• Your amiibo should now be emulated

Do note this disables normal amiibo functionality, if you want to use you real amiibos, disable wumiibo by switching off game patching.

Though it is kind of useless when you have that zip files with Openmiibo (how I call the ZIP file with all the decrypted amiibo from https://hax0kartik.github.io/amiibo-generator/)

Well this is strange, it shows you have 91 compatible titles only few are listed on bottom screen.

As i understand it, it gives the number of compatible amiibos for each title... and it does create those amiibos per title in a folder for said title (quite convenient actually) with the way it works right now you have one folder for each game with all the amiibos which are compatible with said game (this does of course create many more amiibos than necessary but it eliminates the necessity of searching folders for compatible amiibos) I tested it with Metroid Samus Returnes and i am quite pleased with this system! The only (minor) gripe i have is that it crashed a few times when it tried to create the amiibos... but it appears to be random and not title related (tried again after it crashed and it worked).

EDIT: It would appear that the app does not recognise Ace Combat - Assault Horizon Legacy + as an amiibo compatible title.

One question. What is the maximum number of files and folders Wumiibo can show up in a directory? Can I divide files putting then into separate folders from A to Z?

if you used the new app to make the amiibo, they are actually folders named after the title id of the game they are compatible with or were generated for.
