Hacking [RELEASE] PS-Phwoar! Exploit Host Menu For PS4 Firmware 5.05

This is only one that annoying me. I keep click ignored and get in just fine but if I want to check it again. Same message. How do I get rid of it ?

I had to do it all by hand on FTP RW via ps4-xplorer, because in your lastest xploit host for 6.72, the v8, i havent seen your payloads in PS-Phwoar!.

About that v8, wanted to ask you about if is normal to have a kernel panic when the v8 menu is saying the xploit did fail, reboot console. I cant reboot the console because the kernel panic happen always on that moment. I just did figure that v8 menu seems able to avoid the kernel panic, because the messages ?

And also, i know that i have asked it before, but now on 6.72 i am missing so much PS-Phwoar! and all it's features, specially the games dumper menu.

Occasional kernel panics are unavoidable on 6.72, what ever menu you use. Its just how the exploit works on 6.72.
Sometimes you can be lucky and have enought time to reboot after a jailbreak fail but sometimes it just happens instantly when the exploiting process did not work.
I've tried several methods (using return or alert, to stop any code running) to stop KP's but nothing works. Its just the nature of the beast.

My advice is this:
If you just use your PS4 for installing and playing games, use rest mode.
I havent had to run the exploit for almost 2 months now on my pro because of using rest mode and everything has been fine.
I've completed and installed several games with no problems whatsoever.

I suggest using Hen 2.1.3 and when everything has loaded, open and close a couple of games and if it all looks good enter rest mode. If your PS4 resumes from rest mode OK you are good to go. From now on, insteasd of shutting down the PS4 use rest mode.
I also make sure to close any game before entering rest mode just to avoid any potential complications it may cause.

when it says jailbreak fail, please reboot..., just dont do it right away. Press ps home button to get back to dashboard, then wait at least 10s-15s, you will be able to restart the console without having a kernel panic. This step lowers the chance of getting kernel panic while being shutdown, not entirely avoid that.

I can't test it anymore, but I had it on two PCs. I have firefox. This red side has come. ignore. Small popup at the top, then came this page: (Report false report) I think I had to do it several times before the report came.

On my ps4, when it says jailbreak failed, I just dont do anything else than press ps home and back to dashboard, then wait 10-15s and hold down the home button on controller and restart, no panic shutdown happens.

edit: I recheck v8 on my ps4, it gives instant panic shutdown on restart or power off. Sorry for misleading info on previous post

you can try v6 or v7, I just check them and still be able to restart after the page say jailbreak fails like I said. I mostly use v6 because it has option to load jb and hen/mira separately which I believe it increases the success ratio, may work on yours, v8 has latest hen 2.1.3b which leeful tried to fix no-earned-date on trophies when you unlock them but I heard it fixed on some consoles and didn't fix some.

also, if you want to use latest hen 2.1.3b which is on v8, you can download v7 and v8 from leeful github page and replace the exp_kernelHEN.js from v7 folder with the one from v8 folder then you will be able to load hen 2.1.3b on v7 menu if you can do local host on pc.

I mostly use v6 which has separate options to load jb and hen.

I also check v7 which has success/fail counter but strip the option to load jb and hen separately, btw it still allows you to restart after the page says jailbreak fail, just back to dashboard and wait there ~ 10s and hold ps home button and choose power, choose restart.

both version are good to use. you can try v7 first.

Restarting may be to purge memory. On the 360, it was recommended to unplug the system for about a minute after a flash of the nand. I still do it. It's intended to purge the memory.

The only difference in Hen 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 for 5.05 was a patch thedarkprogrammer added that was 'only' used for some homebrew that he was planning to release.
Since the patch had no use for anything else Hen 2.1.3 was the one ported to 6.72.
