Breath of the Wild has terrible dialogue and voice acting, so here is 2 minutes of just that. Enjoy! Oh, yeah, this and an extremely barebones and overpriced collection with a worse framerate to a game released in 2002 are Nintendo's big holiday titles. You know, while other companies are just jumping to the next generation completely, with a ton of new graphically-intensive releases. Hmm. Nice going, Nintendo! Can't wait until 2026 when we get Super Mario Picross + Bowser's Illumination Animation's Minion Character and Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee Final Mix HD Remix, while PS6 is breaking down the doors with 8K 250FPS.

Probably will be better than botw. At least it has a story. Just pre ordered it.
That made me chuckle; let me add on to that, by saying at least this will have fun combat and worthwhile mechanics.

Still, pre-ordering a game? When it's not a limited-run thing (such as that 3D All-Stars Collection thing, from what I vaguely remember)? Eeeeh, that's risky and inadvisable. Remember Anthem? Remember Assassin's Creed Unity? Remember Batman: Arkham Asylum PC? No Man's Sky? Pokemon Sword/Shield? People pre-ordered those games, purchased them without being able to know the final quality of the game, whether it was worthy of purchasing or not.

Thats true. I dont know if it is good but i m a collector . I preorder all Games that come out. If i had read botw reviews before i bought it i d be super disappointed playing it. Everyone gave it a high mark but imo that game was super shitty. Doesnt deserve the name Zelda...

Man, you just have to mention "Breath of the Wild" to get angry people crawling out of the woodwork around here. It's been 3 years guys. You can put the pitchforks down. Anyway, I wish they released a version of this trailer using the Japanese voice acting. I really hope the game has Japanese voice acting as an option like BoTW itself did.

Sorry for that but it uses the same models. So its not too far fetched.
I hope it too. That would be cool. Japanese voice actors are doing it with Heart. So the japanese audio usually is by far better than the other Versions (although i dont understand too much of it without subs

You want Japanese VA, when this type of game is heavy on combat and mid-battle notifications?
That makes no sense; if you pick Japanese VA, you won't be able to understand what's going on without having to take your eyes away from the action. Not to mention, it won't be as immersive due to the lack of comprehension, when you logically should be able to understand if you're in that world.

Well, I'm hoping that it would be subtitled as well. If I had to choose between Japanese with no subtitles and English, I'd go with the English. Subtitles aren't an issue for me though.

Huh; if it works for you...

I just find non-English VA to be extremely obtrusive and immersion-breaking, since it's essentially gibberish to me. I've been able to tolerate it in anime before, due to the lack of interactivity (and the ability to rewind missed parts), but never in games. Yakuza's all but unplayable, for me, for this reason.

I mean, look at Metal Gear Solid 3. Snake, and everyone else, is actually speaking Russian, but the player hears nothing but English due to Snake being able to understand what's being said - ergo, we're supposed to understand it too. This is why the Persona crew speaking English makes sense, despite being in Japan.

Looks as lame as any musou

You mean as awesome as most Musou.
And I already see frame drops in the trailer.
Sweet.

That's an excuse I see thrown around quite a lot. I find it to be quite fake.
The actual issue is that you can't read or multitask fast enough.
For those of us who can it's a non-issue.

I also happen to appreciate Japanese VAs more, since they are usually better in transmitting emotions.
At the very least I'd like to try both VA options before deciding on which one I prefer.

That's a matter of getting used to the language. I can already understand quite a bit just by listening to Japanese VAs on anime and games over a lot of years, while paying attention to the subs. It's how I've learned English too.

And it'd work for any language. The other issue I see here is that you clearly do not care about learning some new languages, at all.
It's your choice, but not a wise one in my opinion.

I mean.... I guess I'll buy it for the story content. But the Musou formula has not fundamentally changed much since the PS2 era. And even the PS2 Musou games were more satisfying to play in my opinion, but maybe that's my inner millennial talking.
