Hello guys!

It's been a long time ago since i last updated my Atmosphere and EmuNAND Firmware, and the only reason i haven't done that is because everything is working great.
I'm using RCMLoader to boot Hekate and from there it bootchain Fusee-Primary (autoboots) into EmuNAND...

I'm going to update to Firmware 10.1.0 since that version might be compatible with all the HomeBrew apps i'm using, such as Tinfoil, EdiZon, Checkpoint, GoldLeaf etc...

Now for the question;
When i update both Atmosphere and my EmuNand to 10.1.0, should i first update my Emunand or the Atmosphere?

I was thinking to do these steps;

1. Download Firmware 10.1.0
2. Install it using ChoiDujourNX V1.0.2 (with AutoRCM enabled).
3.Download the latest Atmosphere and the Fusee-Primary.bin from here; https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases
4. Replace everything by Drag and Drop the files to the root of the SD card.
5. Success?

If i do these steps would i still be able to autoboot into EmuNAND using RCMLoader? :)

I think you should first update your atmosphere and then the fw. Also, I think you should consider directly updating to 10.2.0.

That firmware came out a few days ago, i'm afraid it's not "stable" enough for Atmosphere yet. Do you think the HB apps i use are compatible?
I use these HB apps; Tinfoil, EdiZon, Checkpoint, GoldLeaf and Cheats Updater.

Nah, never update to the latest version, only update to the version needed for compatibility with games, since there are often issues with CFW on the latest firmware, or certain sysmodules not working.

I have updated to fw 10.2.0 and tested every app you said except for Cheats Updater, they worked fine for me.

I am a bit newbie to homebrew too. You are probably right:) I have updated to fw 10.2.0 just for SM3DAS and online play for Sysnand

1. Download the latest atmosphere and sigpatches. Make a copy of Atmosphere folder from your microSD to your pc( just in case) and delete it from your SD. Copy new atmosphere folder plus sig patches to your MicroSD

2.Download newer firmware of your choice from darthsternie. Lots of conflicting suggestions from lots of sources so just make a decision yourself

3. Use Daybreak, not Choi to update firmware

4. Auto boot Fusee-Primary

5. Success

You are not allowed to post sites that host firmware files. Remove the darthsternie URL before a moderator does it for you or worse.

Both of you need to remove the link with Switch firmwares in your quoted posts here and here. Switch firmware files are treated as warez so any sites posted here are against the rules. Remove them before a moderator does so or issues you a warning/ban for not doing so.

I forgot to ask you, how did you update your Switch? Did you use ChoiDujourNX or Daybreak?
I used ChoiDujourNX (btw I only updated my SX OS) but for atmosphere it's better to use Daybreak as far as I know

Yeah something like that. If you look at github, for version 0.14.0 the following is included

A homebrew application (daybreak) was added that uses the system updater API (with thanks to @Adubbz for both design and implementation).
daybreak is included with atmosphère, and functions as a safer/more accurate equivalent to e.g. ChoiDujourNX.
Upgrades/downgrades can be installed from a folder containing the update NCAs on the SD card.
Because the update logic functions identically to Nintendo's, daybreak will be safe to use on Mariko when the rest of atmosphère has support.
Please note: Daybreak requires that meta (.cnmt) NCAs have the correct extension .cnmt.nca.
This is because gamecard system update logic uses extension to determine whether to mount the content

Don't use Choidujour anymore. Use Daybreak since it emulates how the Switch installs the files.

Thank you, im going to install the new Atmosphere version right now and then update the Switch to the latest version :)

ChoiDujour is a PC program...
Maybe ChoiDujour is, but have you ever heard of ChoiDujourNX?

Well i installed the new Atmosphere by drag and drop everything, i even installed the latest sigpatches from here:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-fusee-primary-only.567542/

And i installed the new Hekate and put it in my RCMLoader...

I can now boot into Hekate with the latest version, however when i click on "Payload -> Fusee-Primary.bin" i get this error;

How do i fix this? Please help :(

EDIT: Never mind i fixed it by downloading the Hekate_ipl.ini from here: https://birbchirp.gitbook.io/switch...phere/optional-booting-atmosphere-with-hekate :D
