I'm working on a simple python script which maybe makes it easier for people unfamiliar with compiling stuff to get their own sm64-port (or sm64ex) version. Unfortunately, I dont own win10 and cant use wsl, so not sure if I should use virtualbox (probably not a good idea) or install win10 again ()

just install windows 10, since every other version of of windows below it is pretty much not getting any more support/updates.

I was able to find a compiled version.

Does this port support the better camera mode? If so, how can I enable this?

put your original n64 mario rom in the sm64-port or sm64ex folder, renamed to the correct filename (baserom.version.z64) and start the build process.
Then put the rpx from the build folder on your sd card and start via homebrew launcher (put the rpx in the correct folder [wiiu/apps or wiiu/apps/some_name])

im a little confused about that. Is there a video or a detailed "how to"?

yes there is a video somewhere in the thread (I think @nitrostemp made it)

you need to:

- install wsl on windows 10
- setup build environment (not that complicated but maybe seems so if your unfamiliar with that kind of stuff)
- clone github source, add n64 rom
- build

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do I need an Ubuntu OS? Because I'd prefer not to install an entire new OS just so I can port this thing to the Wii U.

I finally managed to compile it but I really want to make a forwarder for this also wish there was a tool for this kind of thing a bit like Teconmoons injector tool maybe if it supported Wii U Homebrew

Did you have any joy with this? I can;t get any of the PuppyCam ones to ework. it boots black screened.

Am I supposed to add a folder to the vanilla source on the SD CArd? 'I see Enhancements' on the repositories.
