It was the end of August and YouTuber and artist Mirror Panel-3 (ミラーパネル3) shared the teaser of his most recent work on his YouTube channel: Flipnote Warrior, a 34-minute anime that took him 4 years of hard work to complete using a Nintendo 3DS console.

As can be watched in the teaser, the story starts with a teenage girl that suddenly has her life changed when one day a strange Pokémon-like creature shows up from her 3DS console.

Mirror Panel-3 has confirmed that the animation was done using the Flipnote Studio 3D application from Nintendo but it was colorized and edited on PC.

He shares his other animation works in his YouTube channel where he uses Nintendo characters as the main cast (Mario & Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Kirby, etc.), but these are mostly black and white. This time, strongly influenced by the Japanese Anime, he has decided to create his own characters and add color to his work.

Since we are still a few months from the release of Flipnote Warrior, have fun watching the 1 hour-long Mario-themed animated movie released by Mirror Panel-3 back in 2014.
