So I just purchased a really clean PSP off ebay that came with out a charger. I purchased a charger from walmart that had the adapter that fits the PSP. I plugged it in and it turned on the PSP. I walked away and 10 minutes later the PSP was not charging anymore. Right away I thought to my self, shit did I just fry the PSP with to many volts. The charger is a 19v universal. I got to ahead of my self and didnt think much of the voltage until after I realized It might be to much. I just thought since it was charging and turned it on it would be fine. So after some research that I probably should have done alot before this, I know it uses a 5v charger. What can I do to repair the PSP? Can I just replace the power board? Is it a fuse that I need to replace or is it a brick. Thanks for any info.

If you have a voltmeter, you can check the fuses around the charging port. I had a similar problem and replacing/bridging the burnt fuse fixed it.
