heard that the owner made over forty grand with that service in either a month or a year. a lot of idiots out there.

we need enough people to come together and develop an open source online stealth, but hey it also acts as floodgate so you don't have a bunch of 13 years olds, going around and stat resetting people and what not

I got turned off by online gaming after pso, phantasy star online, on the dreamcast was overrun by cheaters using healing spells to instantly kill you.

I decrypted my kv, but I'd need more info to know what I'm looking at.

kv_dec has been decrypted using cpu key

kv contains various info about the console and used for banning , normally its encrypted with the cpu key

nothing really. I just decrypted it to have. I just thought it would be neat to read it, not necessarily use it for something.

They are making that a month ezpz XBLS has thousands of users. Plus their year+ long KV times people default to them

iirc, they have you use a plugin with dashlaunch to initiate the kv server transfer. then, they send a clean kv to microsoft's servers. do you know if there's lag because of this?

If you’re talking about XBLS there is no initial lag when using their dash launch plugin

finally people who understand why the xbox homebrew community sucks, even with this they had to obtain leaked code from existing stealth servers, and dump and sift through code themselves, 90% of the people who write homebrew do it only for money, its all closed source, and nobody will help you develop code, or provide and info on programming on 360, they will literally just tell you to figure it out yourself, add on there is no complete guide on 360 programming, you have to learn ppc C and ppc64 asm and then sift through code [blindly],
don't get me wrong i wouldn't mind paying for certain things, $300 for lifetime stealth isn't worth it for a console they may only have less than 10 years of online service, you pay $10-15 for a week,
people charge more for modmenus than what new XBOX ONE games cost it's fucking stupid ($60 - $80) but people under 18 years old will still buy it like hot cakes, its aimed more to that demographic, that will just spend money to flex, i still cant get around people who actually buy lifetime stealth , damn let's bring some wii and 3ds and get em on a 360, since with experience with ppc and risc on wii (arm on ds)

it's bad when a home-brew scene makes its own devs commit suicide

once they discontinue xbl on 360, jtags and rgh will become alot cheaper, cause most ppl will try and sell em cause they can't mod online anymore and don't want it

this dev wants them to block stealth servers or discontinue xbl, me honestly i still want to take my rgh or jtag online, so leaking stealth server code is enough, if there is a free stealth that works just as well, then they will go out of business

Fun fact I tried spinning up my own stealth service like 4 years ago and the only thing that came out of it was the XBLS team doxxing both my team and I and them trying to boot me offline until I stopped what I was doing.

That doesnt include the onslaught of "hate" messages they sent us on aim too trying to strong arm us into stopping

Reasons to jtag/rgh a 360:

1. Better interface, all games playable from external HDD on demand
2. The 360 has some solid exclusives. Don't forget XBLA.
3. The ability to get all DLC and play delisted games.
4. The hacked Xbox original emulator adds support for many more games and some homebrew.

If you don't need online, do it. It does require soldering, but you might be able to find someone trustworthy on here or elsewhere that you can send your 360 to to have it done. Modded 360 is still one of my favorite consoles.

If you do want online, you can flash your DVD drive instead, which lets you play exact 1:1 burned DVD with minimal risk of ban, but it does nothing else. No homebrew, etc. It's fairly easy to do though and doesn't need solder.

another reason why the 360 home brew community sucks, if you "Attack" the ones making money, they attack back, i wonder if a server could be hosted using cloudflare or equivalent to prevent ddos, and use a hosting company to host the server cheaply via arbitration, that way you can't be doxxed and have personal info leaked
