Put gfx folder into it. Take a look inside base.zip it basically has folder structure.

Well, yeah, it's a port...I got the wii u save to work on project 64. just as easy as before, so the update should be compatible with the official mario 64 as well. no trimming with n64, just paste-write in hex or rename file. I chose the former, and it worked no issue.
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
I can confirm. this save is compatible with wii u's mario 64 as well. exactly the same length.
Oh, I see what you mean.I'm actually referring to this: https://gbatemp.net/download/super-mario-64-wii-u-port-100-save-file.36590/
it says not for vc version. a simple name change and leave state out and you've got it.
$ ./tools/apply_patch.sh enhancements/60fps.patch
Do you wish to apply the patch 'enhancements/60fps.patch'? [Y/N] y
./tools/apply_patch.sh: line 16: patch: command not found
Is this normal?
Code:$ ./tools/apply_patch.sh enhancements/60fps.patch Do you wish to apply the patch 'enhancements/60fps.patch'? [Y/N] y ./tools/apply_patch.sh: line 16: patch: command not found
patch: command not found
patch -p1 < enhancements/60fps.patch
git apply enhancements/60fps.patch
Should also add that if you are using msys2, get it with pacman:
Code:pacman -S patch
Nah, been busy with other stuff, such as rewriting a tool that probably no one will ever use: (Look at me taking good care of my priorities :C)any progress on either sm64 port or ex?
So does this mean we can swap out textures? With that tool or slightly enhance them ?Nah, been busy with other stuff, such as rewriting a tool that probably no one will ever use: (Look at me taking good care of my priorities :C)

I've actually been trying to use this tool to extract and alter the images in the Hyrule Hystoria Wii U title, but it's been yielding issues for me and i can't extract the .gtx files it has. So I actually am interested in updates in that tool My hope is to create different ebooks that can be booted and read on the Wii U beyond Hyrule Hystoria.Nah, been busy with other stuff, such as rewriting a tool that probably no one will ever use: (Look at me taking good care of my priorities :C)

The tool is somewhat unrelated to the port as of now, but it can definitely help in the future if we want to make Wii-U-specific texture hacks as the tool can actually generate textures in a format very optimized for the Wii U.So does this mean we can swap out textures? With that tool or slightly enhance them ?
Oh? If you do have any files you are having issues with, feel free to PM them.I've actually been trying to use this tool to extract and alter the images in the Hyrule Hystoria Wii U title, but it's been yielding issues for me and i can't extract the .gtx files it has. I haven't tested it but EX version should have an in-game menu (START > R) with controls remapping, among many other options. Is input remapping a thing with this port? That's the only thing i am missing, since jumping with A instead of B and punching with B instead of Y is awkward due to the slanted position of all modern controllers, even the original N64 one. Great work on the port!
Yep, i used one of those. It does have some options, but no remapping.I haven't tested it but EX version should have an in-game menu (START > R) with controls remapping, among many other options.
