Hello! This is my first post on this forum, but I need some help. Recently I modded my New 2ds XL and I want to remove my Luma cfw. I kinda messed up my SD card and I needed to format the SD card, I lost all of my homebrew and game saves. Since I messed up I wanted to remove the cfw. But I made a new \luma\payloads and copied over the DO_NOT_RUN.firm (from 3ds.hacks.guide) and the version of God Mode 9 listed on 3ds.hacks.guide and tried holding start and power button and it didnt boot to luma firmware manager. Anyone have an idea of how to uninstall cfw without homebrew launcher and somehow boot to gm9?

@ChimpBoiBoi And check your SD status and format. Remember that FAT32 (for SDs with 2GB+ of size) is the only format that the console recognizes.

Everythings formatted correctly, my new 2ds recognizes the sd card. I formatted it after corruption.

Uninstall CFW is NEVER, EVER recommended. It could causes some errors or a brick, indeed. And if you would want to re-install the CFW it's possible that you cannot (on an easy way, at least).

Then, don't ask here for uninstall, better (and anyway, if you want to do it, then do it under your own risk).

Did you put the "boot.3dsx" file (of HBL) on the root of the console SD?

And done! Ive got cfw uninstalled and my 3ds back to stock firmware (without a brick!). I followed sthetix's tutorial on youtube. Thanks for the help!
Never follow a video tutorial for modding anything. They tend to be very inaccurate and become outdated extremely quickly. Someone in the WIIU section bricked there console using one just yesterday.
