You need to copy on the new sd also the Emutendo folder (
Thanks for your report, I have to investigate because Emutool should already create the correct emummc.ini file with the correct offset, but if you need to repair it, it means that it is not doing it correctly.
Did you overwrite the emuMMC folder or the emummc.ini file after restoring with Emutool?

Ciao!

Oh I copied my old emummc.ini on the new created partition whoops. Your tool probably already created the correct offset. Will check again if I move to a new sd card. Thanks!

Thanks for the tool! It worked like a charm after some trials and errors.

I have found one bug: When you put files in folder with name of one char (for example 'X'), path is not resolved correctly - it misses backslash. It doesn't disturb backup, but it makes restoration done in 30 seconds (it is literally speed of loop on 29.1GBs).

Wow, Thank you very much for your time!
So it seems a stupid overflow error when some big drive is connected. I need to buy a 4TB external hdd to test it
The cinifile.cls should be in the same folder (simple helper class to read ini file like emummc.ini), maybe in my project is still pointing to another folder, I reupload the correct source in the second post.
If you prefer, I started to convert it in VB.Net 2.0, but some little work is still needed (my time is really over), you can find it in the second post.
Feel free to modify the code as you want, but please, if possible resend me the modified code when you have done.

Thank you!

Ciao!
Hi, thanks a lot for your help, I just download the new source, I will try it soo. regards from Colombia.

Not yet corrected the bug, I'll post here as soon as I can do it (no more time for my hobby atm) and I'll push it in github source.
Thanks and Ciao!

was anyone successful using this app? because i have a black screen whenever i boot into emuMMC Atmosphere and i have no clue why it's happening
Hi, Yes I use this app as regular basis for Backup my EmuMMC on SD partition, to a set of files.

If I disconnect my 4TB disk it works very fine. I use it before update the firmware of the EmuMMC and restore to the later versión in case of failure. just be sure of following all instructions and make a copy of the SD card too.

Everytime i use it, i get a black screen when booting into atmosphere and have to shut it off, is it because my emuMMC partition is unallocated? If so, how do i make the partition into an unformatted one?

Ok, buy you use it for converting a file based EmuMMC to a partition, of converting a XOS emuMMC to a Atmosphère one?

What are you doing? because some times you will need reconfigure Hekate or Atmosphère to use the new emuMMC

for create a unformatted partition you can use Hekate, it have a SD tools section and there you can manipulate the partition table of SD

Yeah i was doing an Atmosphere file based emuMMC to partition, sorry for not elaborating earlier.

Right now i'm fully formatting my sd card to get it back as a full single partition and then i'll try using hekate to create one

Btw, do i have to rename the RAW9 folder back to RAW1 or it doesn't matter?

Hi, on my case the "X" on "<SD>\emuMMC\RAWX" correspond to the partition number on the GUID partition table. So

At my case the emuMMC is on the partition # 1 so the folder must be <SD>\emuMMC\RAW1, and I have a secondary emuMMC at partition # 2 and his correspondent <SD>\emuMMC\RAW2 folder.

the partition stores the emulated MMC and the folder on SD stores the correspondent Nintendo folder for that emuMMC

Ahh okay i get it now, just wished the creator added that to his guide so he could avoid confusing people that know nothing about partition tables when doing this....

Thank you very much for the explaination!

Hey sorry to bother you, if i accidently overwritten my emummc.ini file is there a way it changes the sector automatically back from 0xFFFFF to the one i had previously?

Or would i have to redo the emuMMC partition from emutool all over again?

Sorry I was disconnected for the long weekend. glad to hear you could get it work
Thank you for your help.
I was disconnected for long time too.

EmuTool create a raw9 folder only to be sure to not overwrite existing raw1, raw2 folders.
The number in naming is not directly linked to partition number, it is only a textual folder name.
But the emummc.ini file that Emutool write in the sd emuMMC folder should already point to the correct folder name and Hekate is able to understand it out of the box.
You can rename the folder in raw1, but you need to manually edit emummc.ini or use Hekate repair tool.
If you're converting the emu into a file based emu, then you can move on sd card root all the emuMMC folder that Emutool create.
If you already have other emu entries in your current emummc.ini file then you need to manually edit it or you can try to use the Hekate emummc repair tool.
