Misc Motoheroz online is now discontinued

A few months ago I was attempting to go online on the wiiware version of motoheroz when I encountered an error saying something along the lines of server busy/error/it didn't work. Upon playing toay I checked the online mode and it said the sever traffic was either too high (it's obviously not, unless some huge group of people in a different region did something online) or that nintendo wi-fi was discontinued. The notable part is that motoheroz does not run on nintendo wifi unlike how it claims to do so. It actually runs on redlynx's own servers, but I guess they finally pulled the plug. Hopefully wiimmfi can add back online functionality back.

Nope, Wiimmfi won't support any non-Gamespy games.

Has it been confirmed as discontinued by redlynx?

Last I read was that the server was on a computer under the desk of one of their programmers.

Yeah but its been a few months of this now. I don't think that red lynx remembers this game as its forums as far as I've seen are dead. Maybe its different for the mobile version but I can't find it on the app store at all. I dunno maybe their rig for the server exploded or something. Maybe try the support email for motoheroz?

I suppose you're right although you'd think server issues wouldn't last a few months but hey its a wiiware game what'll you do. I wonder why it shows the discontinued message upon trying though. Try the error code on the website maybe? Also maybe its only not working in some regions, whats your experience.

Yeah I've read that thread before. Hopefully the server comes back online soon then, if at all. Motoheroz is a really fun game, I don't want it to go yet.
