Hacking When using a PS3 controller with HIDtoVPAD my game screen gets dark every few minutes. Help

My game goes dark (like it hasn't received an input in a while) and only goes back to full brightness if I press a button on the gamepad.

The PS3 controller works perfectly as a pro controller but is there anyway to stop the screen darkening?

Go to WiiU system settings and turn off screen burn in reduction.

It was already disabled. Any other ideas? Is there some sort of screen save settings?

How is it connected to the tv?
I remember similar behavior when trying to watch a copied VHS tape lol.
