I was playing some DS games with cheats and really enjoying it and I wanted to try out some cheats on gba games but there was no way to enable them and I was wondering if itwas possible to get cheats on other system games such as gba? (Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, I'm very new)(also I'm on a DSi)

If you have the ability to run GBA games (I believe the homebrew enabled DSi has a GBA emulator worth speaking of, or if you are running an enhanced flash cart, which should also have some measure of cheats, then you can hardpatch cheats into the ROM itself with tools like GBAATM
https://gbatemp.net/threads/gba-auto-trainer-maker-gbaatm.99334/
https://gbatemp.net/threads/gbaatm-rebirth-gba-auto-trainer-maker-a-new-hope.564321/

There are also many premade trainers http://gba.dellicious.de/gbatrainer/ for the GBA, and you can edit saves too, or grab a save from whatever and then cheat on something else.

Theoretically if the DSi emulator is a piece of DSi code and you can cheat in DSi code then you can find where the emulated GBA's memory is inside the code and target that as well.

Yes because Twilight Menu has an emulator allowing you to run the DS roms that you put onto the SDcard..
It is not an emulator it boots your roms just like if it was a ds cartridge in ds mode. No emulation is taking place when running ds games. @Robz8 the developer of twighlightmenu has said this numerous times

From the official twighlightmenu thread by Robz8

Even so, I still never said that Twilight Menu itself was an Emulator.
Again you said in the title is there a way to get cheats on other emulators other than the DS one?

Now focus on OTHER THAN THE DS ONE.

That clearly indicates you thought twighlight menu was an emulator

If not then please enlighten everyone into what emulator you mean by other than the ds one.

I thought that there was a seperate emulator for DS inside Twilight menu therefore I was asking about that (which I now know is not a thing). Thats not calling Twilight Menu an emulator. Anyway why did you reply anyway the question I asked was already solved?

Because you have not asked a mod to close the thread so the thread is still open to reply to. And telling you that Twighlight was not an emulator is relevant to the thread as you thought it was an emulator.

I dont even know how to get a mod to close the thread, I'm new to all of this I made an account 3 days ago and learned about Twilight Menu's existence a week ago.

The three little dots under your first post then select report. Then simply ask the mods to close the thread as you have the answers you need. Then wait a few hours for them to do it. They are normally quite busy.

I'm keeping this thread open for now in case OP has any further questions or requires any further assistance after trying some of the suggestions provided. We generally prefer to not close threads unless absolutely necessary.
