using NHSE, is it possible to add a bagworm or a spider in the cedar tree so they drop down hanging when you shake the tree? I know how to put wasp nest, but when i did the same with bagworm, a bagworm in a box fell off..
if its possible ill have to change the count and uses and probably flags but dont know to what number.. any ideas?

Hello experts.

I am curious to hear whether there are any safeguards in place that i cannot think of. I have a switch which has a legitimate copy of ACNH. That sysnand is clean. It was backedup, keys taken everything before creating an emuMMC. That emuMMC has no wireless access whatsoever and has never been taken online.

If I use a poker tool like ACNHpoker to spawn real game items form memory into mu inventory or pockets and then let the emuMMC version of ACNH save that game are there any concerns for me transferring the save to Sysnand and then playing online?

I know there is a risk to get banned for any reason, however I would like to assess how high that risk is before I even do it. I would transfer the savegame manually using HacDiscMount and the keys. So there is nothing corrupting the SysNand, it is just as it was when I grabbed a copy for emuMMC.

Since the items I am spawning are memory manipulations and the game should create a valid checksum for the savegame is there any concern I am not thinking of?

I just want to finish this god damn museum so I can move on to better things with my life.

Hi, well I dunno if it helps but since the game released, Ive been playing it in emuMMC, then after a month while it was 1.2 ACNH update, I bought the game and transfer my save file from emuMMC to SysNand using HacDiscMount through the PC, since then iven been playing the game without getting banned, currently I havent been ban at all and ive been playing for 3 Months since I transfered my save file.

Btw, I never used any cheats at all in my emuMMC save file that was transfered to SysNand, I play the game for real without modifying anything.

Does anyone know if its safe if I use a hacked switch to visit a non-hacked switch and use use some cheat codes from edizon while being in the non-hacked switch island?

Like for example, I want to duplicate gold nuggets, and while being on the non-hacked island, I use the hacked switch and began to drop lots of gold nuggets using the cheat codes.

Is it safe for my non-hacked switch? or there is a risk to get banned?

Pretty sure it's safe I use cheats on Friends islands all the time have been since about two days after the game came out. Online the whole time (legit game copies only)

any cheats for fishing/swimming/bug catching where regardless of the item actually caught, your character will catch the fish/bug/sea critter that the cheat designates to be caught? maybe this would be a good way yo fill critterpedia for the rarer animal.

For some reason, Im not able to use cheats on ACNH 1.3.1, I activate the codes through edizon using tesla overlay, but none of the codes I used work. Ive tried in other games like mario kart, smash or odyssey and they do work, just ACNH wont.

I really want to give my sister raymond and marshal but the only way for me to do it is to bring over my save from emummc over to sys-nand then go online and let her come recruit them (We live in different states)

Being that it's 2 different villagers i'll have to do this twice. I've never used any cheats or anything on sys-nand. I just want to bring over the saves. Let her come get the villagers and then transfer my original save back over.

Just to close this, it was my edizon, dont know why but cheat codes just wont work with my ACNH 1.3.1, so all I did was a clean install of edizon, tesla, ov loader, and it worked perfectly using the same codes, thanks for the answer n.n

Yes, you can gift wrap any item in the game, by doing it manually on NHSE

Or if you're using cheat codes, change the flag1 byte to any of these IDs:

IIRC you can also add 0x40 to these values if you want the name of the item to be shown instead of "Present"

I understand the basic modifiers (qty, color or putting things in trees), but that is all I know right now since my experience is based on cheat file examples and just making sense of them.

bb = uses (usually 00; money-trees have this set at 20; ppl call it "uses" bcs it refers to how many times a tool item has been used, but i think it actually means the state/toggle of the item; i've seen lamps & stereo players with this value at 01 or 02)
