Hello fam,

I have a switch that I SX OS CFW with Auto RCM. I left my switch in my backpack a few days without knowing this drawing issue and now it could not be turned on. I tried to press and hold the power button for 15 sec and leave it charging for a whole day but it still not be to be on. Is there any way to fix it anything that I could try? I'm a noob so any help is appreciated

Thanks

Do the same but leave it for longer, like 2-3 days.
Make sure you plug the charger and then press for 20 sec the power button.
Then, once done with the time period, immediately after unplugging it, connect the RCM dongle to make it boot right away.
Once it boots and you see the screen turn on, plug the charge asap, let it charge a while then continue normally.

Unplugging and replugging the battery is supposed to fix it.

I had the same issue with SXOS and autoRCM. The only way I've been able to solve it consistently is to charge overnight and then use my computer with USB C cable to inject the SX_Loader.bin payload. You can use TegraRcmGUI if you're on windows. You should see the switch detected if it's charged. Then select and inject payload. Once you see the SXOS logo, quickly unplug usb C cable and plug in the dongle and it should boot into emunand normally.

Thank you very much, I will try it after I leave it charging more.

seem not a very complicated process, I will try it as the last step. thanks bro

Thank you bro. Right now when I plug it to my PC with TegraRCM it said "No RCM" and not able to inject the SX OS payload, would I be able to do it if I leave my switch charge more?

You need to remove the back cover and metal shield to access the battery. Triwing screwdriver needed, unless you use a very small flathead, like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c4p624k7d03ge3a/triwing.jpg?dl=0
Only the middle screw on the JoyCon rails need to be removed, the others hold the rails in place. Check a disassembly guide though.

Press the Power Button for around 20s to shut It off...inject the payload of SX OS through tegra RCM via PC...when It boot press the Button "+" to enter the SX OS menu...leave It in there for about 20min then disconect from PC and put It on wall charger to charge faster...after that get out of the SX OS menu and leave It charging normally...

Shit, that's way more complicated then needed. You need only a few things to do what I've done a bunch when this happens.

Get it charged to some extent (more time sitting on the official charger the better)

Once it has some charge, hold the power button down for 20 seconds to make sure it's now off.

Boot Hekate (just send the payload, don't worry about the rest of it you want the basic menu from the payload alone), either via your PC using tegraRCM or your SX dongle.

Once it's booted up Hekate, you'll see it list your current battery level which depending can still be very low (like .1%) Now plug it into either the dock or your charger.

Use the volume button to scroll down to "Power Off" and press the power button to power it off.

Leave it attached to the charger for a while and let it charge normally.

Once it has enough charge (a few hours should be fine) back in Hekate check under utilities and fix battery desync. Then reboot back into horizion and give it a charge. Your done with out having to pull it apart.

Sounds like a plan! Thank you very much! I appreciate the help guys! Hopefully it gets fixed and I'll never left it uncharged one more time...

I would:
Plug it in to a USB port from my PC.
If hearing a jingle, then it has battery and is in payload acceptance mode.
Send payload through PC.

If no jingle, then there's no battery, then leave it charging with the official power brick overnight and retry the former step.
