Hacking Tried to downgrade my N2DSXL from 11.8 to 11.2, is it bricked? I see exceptions on boot

I never backed up the NAND, so am I screwed?

it would appear that all is good LOL.
It was the emunand that I bricked, not sysnand! I was able to wipe the SD card and re-create emunand.

Of note, I was able to downgrade my emunand to 11.2.0-35U, and with a special boot.firm file, the N2DSXL does not crash.

I want to use Gateway 3DS, so I needed a maximum FW of 11.2. and thankfully I didn't sacrifice my sysnand for it.

I am expecting a cliche response as usual from these forums saying "wut do u need gw for when CFW on any ofw gives you access to all romz?"

You're right, but I have some tests I want to run with GW, and the only way to do it is to have 11.2 or lower.

You're right, but I have some tests I want to run with GW, and the only way to do it is to have 11.2 or lower.

no need for you to worry - besides this would cause thread deviation. It was mainly about a bricked N2DSXL which has been resolved. This thread can be closed.
