Is this compatible with EUR versions of games. Iv'e tried mario kart AMCP on DSi with 164.132.44.106 and 178.62.43.212 with 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 but it just freezes and won't respond. Ive tried "Erase Nintendo WFC Configuration" and it still won't work.

Thanks in advance

Is the DSi region locked? Otherwise the games ahould work once you install the custom firmware.

Have you tried deleting your friends from the records menu?

DS games on DSi are not region-locked.

Trying to connect to this server almost always fail, and when it doesn't, it starts searching opponents and goes to a black screen. Did a tracert, and gosh it takes TOO long to reach the server. Is there anything I can do about it, or crying is the best option? XD

BTW, trying with Mario Kart DS on a N3DSXL via TWiLight Menu++.

What server are you using? Also you can always patch the rom with the traditional methods

I'm using the DNS shown in OP, 178.62.43.212. Also tried with 164.132.44.106 but it didn't even worked.

This is all new for me, so I remember reading something about wiimmfi but thought nds-constrain't was like the best way to connect to servers. So, dunno about that. You think that's the best path to take?

It wouldn't hurt to try, but the DNS method has worked just fine for me.

You mentioned you're using TWLMenu and trying to play Mario Kart DS. Does your access point use WEP security/unsecured or is it WPA2?

I change my AP to WEP every time I try to connect to servers, so... that doesn't seems to be the issue.

Now changed some settings on the DS (Manual IP/Mask/Gateway) connection menu and shows Error 61020, both on MKDS and Tetris DS. Before, after multiple attempts, at least MKDS started searching for opponents. Now it just gets stuck there.

Somebody here mentioned patching the games, I've browser a lot but couldn't find any tools/guides.

61020 indicates GameSpy maintenance. Try again and make sure the DNS is set correctly.
As for manual patching, from what I can tell, that's been deprecated in favor of the DNS solution. You're welcome to try, but I can't guarantee that it'll work since WFCPatcher hasn't been updated in 5 years.
Are you connecting via a phone hotspot or are you using a router that supports WEP?

I'm using a router that supports WEP :P

Now deleted all DS connectivity configurations and started from zero in case I mistyped something.

It gets stuck at this screen indefinitely. I did a traceroute to that IP (nas.core.fs3d.net [178.62.43.212]) and it takes way too much time to reach it. I feel it can't reach the server for whatever reason from my location. I'm like running out of ideas tbh.

Does the wheel freeze?

My advice is to disconnect after five minutes and try a hour later. Now with the quarantine foibg on there is just way too many people using the same server.

News: now suddenly, after multiple attempts at connecting, it worked. It started searching for opponents... the wheel stopped and now it shows a message:

"You were disconnected from Nintendo WFC.
Press the A Button to return to the menu.
Error Code 85020"

Last time it started searching for opponents, happened exactly the same. So, it might be a matter of luck I guess. Anyway thanks for helping guys, I see it isn't an easy case. Might stop trying to play online as I see it isn't possible.
