@OsirisX hello, I've tested cores from n64 and psx in a ps4 fat version and all of them runs very slowly, like 7 to 11fps. I'm not sure if it's because I installed the r4.1 without uninstall the previous versión or becouse the cores isn't optimized yet.

Are you running n64 with angrylion enabled? It will be slow on other settings. For psx are you are running with pcsx reamed core and have bios in system folder?

With Parallel and Mupen64plus-next there is a black screen using angrylion. In mupen64plus I can't find how to enable angrylion.
For pcsx reamed I have a pack of bios but the games are running very slow, I've tried several configurations with out results.
I tought that retroarch fat isn't have optimization in ps4 fat, but maybe I was doing something wrong.
Thanks for your work.

A few more glitches:

- MAME 2015 seems to crash with any rom, probably due memory requirements.
- vitaQuake2 doesnt work, it just crashes. NVM, you also need config.cfg as well as pak0 :creep:
- 3DO (that works surprisingly well) has a trackball configured by default, instead of the console's pad.
- Handy (Lynx) is now working, but something is wrong since games I've tested has many graphical glitches. And this emulator has been fully compatible since 15+ years ago.
- VMUEmulator shows some grabbled graphics, using a few compatible savegames. But this is probably a normal behaviour, I dont think games are actually emulated.

I have recorded a "brief" showcase of every new core (except Angrylion's RDP, I forgot it).

C64's Shinobi looks totally corrupted. It could be an emulator problem or port issue, but its probably just a side-effect of tape fast-loading feature. Real-loading is, of course, waaaaaay too slow.

DOS' Raptor is one of the very late DOS games so requirements are quite high. I guess older DOS games should work fine. Without dynamic core, newer games performance wont be great.

I think there are still some speed issues since, even when games go at rock-solid 60FPS, they dont feel that smooth, stuttering aside. It depends on the core tho.

The audio is distorted on the snes cores.
Mesen-S is a cycle-accuracy emulator, so its a resource hog. You should try Snes9X instead, trading some accuracy for performance.

I was talking about the Snes9x Cores :P Mesen-S actually sounds better..
I agree with the Speed issues.. All the cores seems to be a bit off when it comes to speed/sync. Its weird @OsirisX you should bring this up to the RA dev they should be able to help?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Some of you never waited 10 minutes for a game to load from tape, only to be faced with a Read Error and have to rewind and start all over again, and it shows.
I been there, back in the day when I started to load a game goto the local shop, come back and STILL be waiting for the game to finish loading

Not my case. I had an MSX HB10P, Spectrum+2 and CPC back in the day (still have all of them). I just don't want to wait nowadays :D

I've uploaded a new snes9x core in online updater. Can you try it and see if audio is still distorted?
Just tried the snes9x Current Core but there's still audio distortion (seems like a small improvement over the last build) and still speed issues :(
