But why? what's the problem with sx os?
Well, I have wrote many times what is wrong with SX OS which can be summarized to few points: closed source, lack of documentation, bloated memory. So clue is that the "problem" cannot be easy pinpointed. I'm not a masochist to blindly search for answers and I'm adding support for SX OS only for one person who helped me many times in the past in real life, so until he will ask me to add support for Mariko and he will test it personally, I'm not touching this shit even with a stick.
That's why when everything is working for him, I don't care if it's not working for someone else with SX OS.

Hi guys!
Is there any way I can use ReverseNX RT or ReverseNX on the Mariko Switch with SX core?
I tried to follow the post: Overclock SX OS
I was not successful, the switch always hangs on black screen when I open a game.
Can someone help me? I would love to use ReverseNX with Sys clk.

Thanks in advance!

I managed to make sys clk work, I found a publication teaching how to install on SX OS. Now I would just like to use reverseNX, is it possible? I would really like to be able to use the switch in portable mode with docked graphics.

Thanks in advance!

Exctly what I needed. Thanks.
This does not require overclocking right?
It's not touching clocks at all.

I'm now learning about homebrews on the Switch, can you explain to me how to make it work?
Sorry, I'm really learning. I tried to install the latest release of SaltyNX and the latest release of ReverseNX, now it doesn't crash, but it has no effect when I activate docked mode.

My switch is Mariko, SX CORE.
Thanks in advance!

I managed to progress a little bit, installed reversenx 0.34, replaced the files with Saltynx version 0.3.1a and deleted reversenx.elf from the "Saltysd / plugins" folder, put the NSP in the SX OS title folder. I managed to make Crash Team Racing run in dock mode, the graphics were better, but the gpu clock is still locked at @ 460, this slows down the game. With the other games it didn't work, I switched to docked mode and still continued in handheld mode. I am checking the clock speed with the monitor status.

If anyone can help, I will be very happy.

Thanks in advance.

Reverse NX doesn't change clock speeds. You have to do it yourself. You only can go higher than 460mhz with the GPU, when the (official) charger is plugged in.

But doesn't reverseNX make the switch believe it's anchored? So, this unlocks the clocks to the maximum that the Sys clk can go, doesn't it? I already set the sys clk to a value higher than 460mhz, even so it will not go further without connecting the charger. Did I install reverseNX correctly? Is it working?

Thanks for listening!

So is it impossible to go beyond 460 mhz without connecting the charger? Even with reverseNX set to docked mode and sys clk set with all clock parameters above 460mhz? From what I understand from the description of reverseNX, this is his function, making the switch think it's in anchored mode to improve the graph and unlock the clocks ... if not, it doesn't make much sense.

Thanks for listening!

It is not possible. How often do you want the question answered?

It is maybe possible with a modded sys-clk, but I don't know anything about that

With good will, I would be glad to be. Anyway, I will wait for a response from the masagrator, because I am almost sure that this is the function of reverseNX. It doesn't make sense for the game to go to docked mode and the clocks to be handheld.

Thanks!

It doesn't make sense for someone who doesn't understand how communication between game and OS works.
Game sends info to system "if you're in handheld mode, use this clocks. In docked use this clocks". Game can't change clocks on it's own and this plugin doesn't touch anything system related.
I'm faking output only for game.

Btw. Notifications AGAIN didn't show new posts here.
