Yep! It doesn't edit/write to anything other than the config file(s) it will create on your sd card. Horizon doesn't even let you write to the save that contains the play log, so there's no real way the app could edit your log even if I wanted it to.
That's interesting, because when that occurs for me I have the stats included in Recent Activity (my calculated stats) and not in All Activity (Nintendo's stats). I'll look at it some time, I'm not sure when though as I've got exams coming up which is great
Obviously since the last 'Out Focus' event isn't logged you'll still lose the last part of the session, as I can't tell when it crashes
And no the app can't really be reinitialized, it doesn't store anything apart from config files (for the settings in-app). The best you can do is delete /config/NX-Activity-Log and the .nro and redownload it.
Actually the official log shows only "first played 5 days ago".
But in all apps sort by playtime it is in front of links Awakening, which has ~3 hours more than outer worlds in your app. (so I guess the official log has it, will see it in 5 days...)
I redownloaded it, it's the same. No activity on June 10th.
I mean, there are worse things, but I love statistics.

Good to hear! Is it correct though? I think I can see why it would behave like that, but I would have thought it would report incorrect playtime if so.
Is there an easy way to delete items from the activity log? I'd like to remove games that ended up having really low play time and are just clogging things up.

I played it 53 mins in all activity. But only 3 mins in new activities. I guess it has something to do with not connecting to the games' online service. Because I started it 3 times and it takes about 1 minute each time till the "could not connect" error occurs.
Also same with Borderlands (at least the pre sequel).

The last session (these 5 sec) I just tried something. You can Ignore that.
Didn't release the session before was nearly 3 mins. It's strange, I don't know what's wrong.

Alright so I've had a quick look and it seems that there's no 'closed' (out focus or exit) event being logged for some sessions. That's weird because I can't see what would stop that from happening apart from your switch crashing or hard resetting it while the game is open (which I'm guessing you didn't do).
The only thing I can think of then is that something has changed with the log format which is causing them to be filtered out by my code. Do you happen to be on 10.x? 10.0.0 changed a few things with how the play log works iirc.
OMG wait, I'm so dumb. The switch did crash yesterday when I closed Burnout.
...
BUT when I first played burnout (17. June) the switch didn't crash And it still only logged ~ 1 min.

Yeah for that session there's no account logout event either, so something isn't right. I've modified the code slightly to print out events with 'unknown' values, so could you run this .nro and post the play log again? Hopefully some of those unknown events will show up!

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games
I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh
Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable
I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
