Ary and the Secret of Seasons, the upcoming coming-of-age story of the titular adventurous girl, just got new gameplay footage released today. It showcases gameplay features as well as a walkthrough by Genese Davis, the game's lead writer, on the ways Ary wields the power of seasons to restore order to Valdi.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons launches this September on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Looks a little unpolished, UI and animation-wise, but seems like it could be a very fun game. Hopefully it does well enough they can do even better on new games in the future.

Not sure if most of you are joking, but this looks like complete garbage to me.
Different strokes for different folks i guess
honestly it looks fine, nothing groundbreaking or amazing. Maybe if there's a demo ill get it
okay the gimmick here has too much potential for a game like this, i seriously hope its realized because if it is there will be amazing puzzles to find in this game. I'm now really wanting to buy this.

This doesnt look like your typical "same 3 levels" shooter with "friggen sweet" graphics. Where most 13 yo spawn camp and talk about how flippin sweet it was to totally pawn the other team because there bad ass. Or one of those over hyped games with sweet graphics and "hold your hand" linear gameplay with zero replay value. It looks more like an old school game with real gameplay and puzzles to solve. Maybe thats why so many are excited about it.

Did anyone say it DID look like your first two examples? Nope. And I guarantee no one has even thought those two things about this game. I'm also 48 and don't even play the kind of games you're referring to, but my own guess is that this one has even less replay value. And because nothing except "old school" games have "real" gameplay or puzzles to solve?

how does this have less replay value??? It's an indie zelda-like title. Assuming they pull it off correctly this could have some good replay value, with being able to 100% the title and having a hard mode, sidequests and maybe DLC that adds 3-5 hours worth of extra content to the game. The DLC part i kind of doubt though.
