Has anybody transferred a pokemon from previous versions and made it into a pk8 file to see what values need to be changed to bypass the "current handler cannot be past gen OT for transferred specimen" on pkhex. I believe you have to bring a pokemon from HOME and then talk to the guy in the battle tower to make the pokemon get the battle ready mark or something like that. I am trying this for Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion which were normal captures in previous gens so they are not Mystery Gift/Event pokemon from the database.

if you have PKHex it doesn't really matter haha unless you want to trade, I haven't traded it over yet.

PK Database folder has been updated with all Isle of Armour mons, make sure to change your handler details,stats,moves etc :)

I'm having trouble using pkNX on Sword post Isle of Armor DLC. Changes to trainers aren't being saved and some of them aren't reflected properly when I load my game. Also, another issue I've noticed is that certain trainers with multiple battles namely Klara/Mustard when opened erase all the changes I've made to other trainers. Galarian Slowpoke also seems to have its moveset swapped with Galarian Weezing.

Today, I transferred a save between two Switches (non-CFW) to discover DLC is not required if someone would like to Code Hunt a location warp code.

The Switch receiving the Shield save had not yet downloaded the DLC however the game loads. The Train Station option to go to the Isle is disabled, ALL the fly points for the Isle are disabled, and the menu shows "Buy the Expansion Pass" BUT the game is completely playable. This means if your save was edited to teleport you into the Train Station on the Isle of Armor you could play the DLC without buying the DLC.

I imagine for some CFW players, this is the golden key.

However, at this time, I have heard of no warp codes nor does PKHeX currently show in-game map location or ability to edit it.

most cfw players can just download the DLC so why not just do that instead of looking for a warp code????

Hi! I'm having troubles, is my first time using cheats in Switch and I tried with Shield 1.2.0 build, but when I put cheats the game crashes when I'll start to walk, what could it be?

Edit: Nevermind, I found that a Nurse cheat were crashing the game.

Question, there are any way to start the game with all the cheats disabled? Every time that I start the game I need to disable all cheats in Edizon and enable only what I want.

Yes. You have to change manually a line in the atmophere/Config directory.
Open system_settings.ini with a text editor, change:
; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1"
to:
dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
(Make sure you're deleting the ";")

I haven't seen any codes for creating a Missingno raid. I am aware they are floating around and are less reliable than editing the exefs, but I can't seem to extract exefs anymore soooooo. Anyone have those codes they're willing to share? I've looked for a few days and can't find them.

Yeah, I changed it before ask because I found this solution by google, but does nothing, Edizon continues enabling all the cheats at the start.

Fixed, I was editing ini file in config_templates folder. I made copy-paste of the ini to config folder folder and now is working :rolleyes:

History: "Missingno" is not a Pokémon. It's a bug which was a result of rushed programming and the hardware restrictions of the GameBoy. The name comes from an error handler in the code for "MISSING NO" aka NO as in NUMBER. It was for any Pokémon the game tried to load without a PokéDex #. This is why there's no such occurance of this bug after Gen 1 titles nor an appearence in the remakes because the bugs that allowed the glitch to occur were fixed.

If you have seen anything, it's not in the game it's the modding scene as the modding scene already proved in v1.0.0 of the game they could swap out Pokémon in the Dex with other mons by using the models from Let's Go as the file structure was the same. So, if you want that you need to find a mod out there and mod your game.

Codes will not add entirely new character models into your game... that's not what cheat codes do.

So I have a question regarding the save file for Sw/Sh :

I don't care about the game, but I do care about pokémon home (for the hypothetical future Sw/Sh 2)
So, can I inject a modified save via checkpoint without having played the game, or will it result in a ban ?

....you do not know what missingno raids in sword/shield are. There's a lot happening behind the scenes, but the result is basically by hosting a missingno raid, all those who join will get x999 of some items and also give you a pokemon which acts like an "egg" and can be used to duplicate pokemon. Normally you have to edit the exefs, which means extraction, editing, and injection of the game files, but one of the updates have broken my ability to do so. So I'm looking for the codes, which I'm told exist, I just can't find them.

But yeah, google "missingno raids". it's fun.

(Yes, I am fully aware the "Egg" USED to create glitched Nursey eggs when bred with Ditto to create a copy of the 6th slot Pokémon HOWEVER this appears to have been fixed in v1.2.0 from my testing.)

It's possible this encounter is glitching the Raids enough to impact the rewards table BUT I highly doubt it. If that's the case, I am assuming it's because they are using National Dex #0999 as the encounter. The value may be carrying over in memory. This error in theory would ONLY occur on the non-Host players games so I might test to see if that works later.

It's more likely these people are using the codes on PROMOTED Raids. The Raids reward table can be edited via the Block Data obversed within PKHeX.

Dude, I know more than you. If you want, I can explain what's happening and how it's happening. For starters it's called a Missingno raid because of how it works but mainly just because it gives you x999 items, not because it's actually the same glitch from red/blue/green. I appreciate the doubling down on the 'splaining though. But a simple google search will probably help you out from looking like someone who doesn't have a clue. If you don't want to help, then stop spamming your condescension.
