So happy to be testing Yuzu for the 1st time. I followed the tut to dump all my files. All good there it seems. The game I'm testing is ACNH. I downloaded the patch and installed the updates to NAND through Yuzu. I launch the game and it doesn't crash but it also doesn't progress further than a blank/black screen. Any ideas what I'm missing? Could it be my Surface Pro graphics card?

Are you using the Yuzu Early Access build? ;p
It currently only works on that one.

Yes. Most likely anyway.. there's various models of the Surface Pro with the latest offering the best performance, but not even the best Intel Iris is enough to run Yuzu.

Thanks for the advice. I tried Early Access on my Surface and it still didn't work. I tried on my AMD laptop and it now works.

There’s no implemented online support yet. But when it’s added, playing online will come with the risk of that.

New feature release called prometheus. Yuzu now supports multi core cpu emulation.
Instead of running the Switch OS, yuzu has recreated its own version of the OS built entirely from the ground up.

I don't know for ACNH but Pokemon is playable in mainline (a bit slow), and almost perfect in the patreon version. Obviously it depends on your system.

Public version:
Pokémon runs at a playable speed.
Animal Crossing runs (with workarounds), but can’t really get above 20 FPS outdoors.

Patreon (Early Access) version:
Pokémon is pretty much full speed at all times-
And Animal Crossing is full speed with some occasional minor frame drops.
But only if you have multicore enabled in the Patreon/Early Access version

Major improvements have been made to Smash Ultimate in the last few months. It’s now playable at almost full speed on the early access builds with multi core.
It’s still playable on public builds. Just... quite slow
