Hacking Am I safe from a ban if I do a quick initialize to wipe the hacked games and update the console?

Hi, guys!

First of all, I am very thankful for all Devs who allowed to me play a lot games in my 5.05 PS4. I am very enthusiast of hacking consoles, not only for playing free backups, but also by the fact that you can use your console to do amazing stuff like homebrews and emulators. However, it seems pointless to me have a console which I don't use because I cannot play newer games. Games in my country are very expensive, so the scene helped me a lot. But having a big list of games to play is not enough, because some games just don't catch my attention. Most likely I rather save some money and buy few games that I really want than having a big list and don't use at all. Certainly, there is too much games in the world and I can't play every one. I just don't have the time for it. Also, is possible to share account and split the price with a friend which helps to save money.

So that is it. I want to lose my hack to play newer games that I think is worthy. Can I just do a quick initialize and I am good to go? Or is necessary to do something else?

In addition, is possible to keep the saves from the hacked games and use it on legit games after I buy them?

Format It and do a factory reset!! No..your saves for fpkg wont work on oficial games..forget It.

Do you NEED to wipe it ? Or just update it and uninstall the games that you put on the hard drive ?

The games on the hard drive will no longer play with out discs so, does it actually matter ?
