I mean no, that's not what that says at all. They'd like to target greater than 60fps, possibly up to 240fps, but I can 100% guarantee they're not going to actually get that high.

120fps will likely be the max they achieve.

"up to" means 239.5fps in the menu.
120fps in the item customisation/cinematic mode.(optimistic)
61-80fps in any normal race.

This basically sucks by doing this they are basically pushing people to get a PS5  unless gamestop offers $200 credit for my PS4 I'm going to just hold on to my PS4 until the price goes down. I still have Forza and Need for Speed to keep my occupied.

I think I have some stuff in GT Sport to do also

Well, there's no way you can get ray traced graphics at 60fps or more on the PS4.

I don't think they'll do, you'll always make more if you sell it yourself, after all, with internet you have plenty of options for that.

maybe some complete "non-vocal" sound tracks, the racing genre took a dive.

for a full priced game you should NOT have to "bring your own content"

another major problem the unrealistic controls, still plague the series ......... once you enter into a "slip/skid", in a game like turismo you do a complete spin out always, in reality, tapping the break or acceleration can fix the condition without a complete speed down.

why is that so difficult, for that reason, you can google it, "gran turismo 3 on the ps2" is held as the best gran turismo game still, even with the bad sound track. (too much realism, if you don't get it right is no good).

I think I'm gonna step out for this console generation. Sony and Microsoft are all about pushing numbers this time and its just not appealing to me as a gamer. I want games to be fun, not... whatever this is.

It's always the same cycle. MS and Sony fight out the spec wars.. Nintendo plods along hardware-wise but still puts out interesting games that people want to play.. Sony eventually realises the games are whats important and releases some good exclusives.. Xbox kinda fades into the dark even with the best specs.. Rinse and Repeat.

I don't have much experience with recent GT games but I remember that in forza 4 I used to be able to recover a Ferrari from going sideways (almost at 90degrees compared to the road) in fast corners, this shouldn't be possible in real life. I'm not sure which behaviour is worse between the two.

Gran Turismo 3, not 4, are you sure? GT4 is impressive, it's basically a next-gen game running on the PS2 (in fact, GT5 wasn't that much different).
