I want to try gateway 3ds and the best firmware is 4.x. And i also want to try sysupdater because it never worked for me. It always crashes at that point.

gateway you are going to find is nothing more than a simple waste of time. At one point it was the better, but it more than lacks now.

You can boot Gateway using B9S. You don't need to be on 4.x. In addition, Gateway has been abandoned, and it doesn't work on the latest system versions.

Which system version were you on? Gateway has been abandoned for a very long time and doesn't work on later system versions. You should create a 9.2 emuNAND for Gateway

Weird... I could swear I replied last night, but now it's not here, and I have no notification that my post was deleted and I have no warning. I guess I'll try again.

This tutorial is too long. Assuming your default payload is Luma, and you don't have a payload set to "down" (change it if you do), simply extract the attached .zip to the root of your card. Now just hold "down" while you first hit your power button, and let go of it when you see the bootCTR screen. Done. On rare occasion, GW won't fully boot to the home screen and you'll just have to force a power off and do it again. I've never had to try more than twice. It seems a bit slow, so wait at least 30 seconds before you decide that it got stuck.

I've been using this setup for years and I'm on B9S. At some point, Luma stopped being able to boot the Gateway.firm directly, but BootCTR9 works. I haven't tried on fastboot3ds.

What makes you think downgrading is going to be any better? Easiest Solution. Go watch someone on Yt start up and use gateway. So what a farce it truely is, and save yourself the hassle. Espcially if you dont have a red or blue gateway card to launch gw with.

It doesn't work on 11.3 and higher, and booting Gateway can also potentially remove B9S from your system. Gateway is very much not recommended.

Seedminer is compatible with the latest version

1. Download the latest Luma3DS
2. Put the boot.firm and boot.3dsx onto the root of your SD card
3. Put the SD back into the 3DS
4. Boot the system while holding Select and verify at the top of the config settings that you're running Luma3DS 10.1.3.
5. If you're running Luma3DS 10.1.3 and it boots properly, follow this guide to update everything else, including your system. Follow the entire guide.

If you don't already have one, you should also create a NAND backup suing GodMode9 and store it somewhere safe.

Is there still a web exploit?
I managed to download a copy of go gateway for android but i always have problems that the internet browser is telling me to update.

I always see people on 4.x mostly 4.5.

You need to be on 4.x or 6.x to use the blue card, but there is no reason to use the blue card. You can boot Gateway with B9S.

I have followed the luma + gateway guide and i am now ready to start it up. B.t.w. it was really hard to find the gateway files esecially the arm9loaderhax.bin.

Thank you all! I just booted into gateway using stock firmware and a go.gateway.com alternative.
Now i only need to get bootctr9 working. It boots into a black screen.
