Where is the retroarch N64 core on Wii U? My phone can install it, why cant my dedicated home console? Can someone show me how to get it?
You guys should come on over to the Switch, where we got emulators the Wii U couldn't dream of like 3DS (Citra), PSP (Wii U also has PPSSPP but on Switch the games actual work), Mupen64Plus-Next (very high compatibility), and Flycast (Dreamcast).
Don't get me wrong I have a Wii U also, but Switch is probably the best emulation console of all time even though it's a console/handheld hybrid.
Can it natively run Gamecube games? no? then i'll keep my Wii U.You guys should come on over to the Switch, where we got emulators the Wii U couldn't dream of like 3DS (Citra), PSP (Wii U also has PPSSPP but on Switch the games actual work), Mupen64Plus-Next (very high compatibility), and Flycast (Dreamcast).

Yeah but i'm not going to mod the newer console, that's just dumb.Maybe it's different in your country but most of the world you're legally allowed to own more than one console.
Yeah, but it's super hard to mod.You guys should come on over to the Switch, where we got emulators the Wii U couldn't dream of like 3DS (Citra), PSP (Wii U also has PPSSPP but on Switch the games actual work), Mupen64Plus-Next (very high compatibility), and Flycast (Dreamcast).

I have to admit that I haven't really been keeping up with Switch modding as I mostly only care about it for emulation and my N3DS and Wii U pretty much cover all the bases I care about, but last I knew you needed to have a Switch model that was unpatched during its first year of release. I think I recall hearing that some post patch models could be unpatched via a physical mod, but honestly man...nah. I'm good. If it ever becomes as easy to mod a Switch as it is to mod other platforms, sure, I'm all in, but until then I'm not spending a fortune trying to find an unpatched Switch or dealing with the hassle of hard modding mine just to have a few extra platforms of emulation.

You also need a non mariko model or a modchip. Both thigs are crazy expensive so no, thanks.

The most I can do is edit the wii64 rice ini plugin to run some games better, but the wii64 and a wii emulator injected into the wiiu if it were a wii one it would be better because the wii64 doesn't have support to play two players by the pro controler only works the gamepad and the wii controlssome ppl dont think n64 is compatibility with Wii U. not all will work but at least 50 percent working n running. Loadiine old age did run and hope to see someone who have more thrill to experiment with Wii U N64 standalone or retroarch or inject
