Last emmunand was on PS3 and you had to soldier parts to make it work for OFW/CFW the PS4 is alot more sophisticated than the Switch that's why CFW was so much easier to block on PS4 than switch because it was software based

There's no guarantee if they switched places the PS4 scene would be any better. PS4 is just a difficult console to hack.

Because Sony and MS have lots and lots of money and engineers to secure their consoles, Nintendo has some interns who surf stack overflow about security and then waits for everyone else to find their exploits before their fix anything


Really it's just down to the complexity of the software and hardware. Sony doesn't store it's entire OS on the NAND, most of it will be on the HDD, which makes it more difficult to just create an entire second emunand. Plus you'll generally need a bootloader exploit, which we just don't have because Sony didn't fuck up with security as hard as they did the PS3/PSP this time around.

If the PS4 and Xbox One remained un-cracked that means that the Series X and the PS5 would be the same. We done pissed so much in Nintendos soup I strongly doubt the next release will be cracked from Nintendo.

just because exploits aren't public doesn't mean they don't exist. if you've read Math's twitter, he's said the ps4's security is unimpressive. his actual wording is that it's meh.

The switch had a hardware flaw that let people use emunand. That’s why it only worked on the older units.

That same flaw led to further discoveries allowing the new mod chips. If Sony and Microsoft had similar hardware flaws the story would be the same.

Why is it so hard for you? We really have no idea, you probably don't have the talent for that. There are people who can't paint, there are people who can't swim and then there are people like you who can't create an emunand .. but that doesn't mean other people can't. In fact, it's very easy for them, there are a lot of people who enjoy it in private ... There may be more reasons, such as the PS5.

As of right now only games on 5.05 the scene was so bad I had to sell the jailbroken PS4 that I bought in a week and instead buy a gaming laptop (best decision ever)

I have a legit PS4 whatever the PS4 Jailbreak had in terms of games I already owned them legally doesn't benefit me keeping something that I can't benefit me. At this point even if a new jailbrek exist it wouldn't benefit me because I own like 60 PS4 games so why give all that up to play a few games that I can buy for $20 on black friday.

Why bother buying a 5.05 PS4 if you are just going to sell it like that? remember that the scene went from exploiting firmware 1.76 to 4.05, there wasn't an exploit for a while, don't complain as the scene got 4.55 exploit and 5.05 exploit shortly after, there are a decent amount of games available for 5.05 firmware.
