Hence why I said in bold properly. Your earlier post basically said there was no safe way of running CFW and being able to go online with the same Switch. Clearly you can if you take the right precautions. There's very little need now to buy a second Switch.

LOL probably not. Because if it was to be removed, we would've had people announcing on separate thread. Big N's "temporary" word has a different meaning. I think ban is ban PERIOD; doesn't matter if its temp or not.

I was "temp" banned in september after updating to 9.0.0. I was always using 90DNS but not incognito on CFW.

Things I did that IMO could lead to the ban:

• downloading games and updates using "Tinfoil" app (hbg shop), which is included in "kefir" pack
• updating games with nintendo's launcher on CFW
• reading nintendo news (couldn't watch trailers, probably because of 90DNS)

Error codes were mostly 2124-4517 with a couple of 2181-4017

Until november the explaination on nintendo website stated that the switch is temporary banned for violating terms.
Now nintendo changed the explaination, saying it's a permanent ban.

So you have been stuck on this "temp" ban since September...
Like I mentioned before, there is no such a thing as "temp" ban. Once you get that message, assumed that you are banned so move along.

And please don't be SHOCKED when you realize your Switch is banned because you went "online" with CFW running... you're always taking a chance.

After much back and forth with Nintendo Customer Support over many weeks, they've concluded their investigation:

After investigating the situation we were able to verify that there is no ban in place and that this error code should be due to the console malfunctioning.

In order to solve this I advise a repair.

(I've seen this also reported by other people on Reddit, etc)

Being cynical they could swap the exploitable console for a new/unexploitable one to take some of the many exploitable consoles out of circulation.

But the moral is you can't have your cake and eat it.

You can't fix/repair a ban dude. A repair here is useless/not necessary. There is no temporary ban or something like this. If you get this error screen you're screwed. A ban is a ban. That's a final decision from nintendo.

They assured me if I sent my console in it would be replaced for the repair fee.

I didn't send it in at the time, and now with COVID-19 and closed Nintendo repair facilities, I have no intention to send it in for the foreseeable future.

Waiting. The message above isn't a ban. It only means that the nintendo services are currently not available.
