Hi, i just wanted to know, anyone else has his account banned for playing in a hacked Switch...?
A friend of mine, had a Hacked switch, then Nintendo baned his Switch, now that he has another brand new switch it appears this message (It's in spanish, i will leave the translation below)

This account can't be used, The terms of the Nintendo user agreement have been breached

Anyone else has experienced this?

it's kind of logicall thst the account would be banned, dont you think?

As far as I've read, the account can be banned when used in a "bannable" switch.

Nintendo don't usually ban accounts. If you abuse CDN to download pirated games, they will ban your IP, account and all the Switches on the same network. But for CFW/NSP usage they normally just ban the console.

I didn't mean that every account will be banned, I meant that's it's possible to be banned because of using a "bannable" console.

I thought that Nintendo only banned accounts for things like chargebacks. Perhaps something else happened to your friend's account e.g. he was hacked, maybe there was a problem with his card, etc.

The only way to find out would be to contact support.

Why didn't he just make a new account for the new Switch?
He had probably already purchased games or maybe had an ongoing Nintendo Online Subscription on his account. I agree with the comment above usually setting your old account from a banned switch onto a new unit is not a problem at all I also assume the same as above there was most probably some serious dodgy luigis mansion shit going on with that account and that’s why the ID was completely banned.
