Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition launches today on iOS and Android

NyOpbVD.png

Last month saw the reveal that the Danganronpa Trilogy would be making its way to mobile devices later this year, complete with new UI and touchscreen controls to better suit the new platform. Today, the first game in the series, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, has surprise-launched worldwide on both the App Store and Google Play Store. This port of the decade-old game includes a gallery that lets you view character art, voice-acted lines, and promotional material. It also adds new controls to make investigation segments easier to play on a touchscreen. You can grab Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for $17.99 for Android, or $15.99 on iOS.

I always saen these on Ps Vita.. & i have a modded one.. I just thought they was Novel Games.. Which I don't really like so much.. Am I wrong quite tempted to try one is there one that's better that the others?
it's pretty much a visual novel game with pheonix wright kind of investigation segments and trails.

I'd watch a trailer or two before trying this out

Definitely games worth playing, and honestly, if you don't have any other method of experiencing them, I'm certain these mobile ports won't be awful. Just because a game is on a phone doesn't make it automatically bad.

$17.99 for Android, or $15.99 on iOS.

I mean of course, like Chary said, a game being on a phone doesn't make it automatically bad, but... come on, $17.99 just to play the first Danganronpa game on mobile devices? And we're gonna have to wait for the other 2 games, and we're probably gonna have to pay another $17.99 for each, too. $53.97 in total...

Just announce a game is coming to Switch, everyone's been asking for it.

That's cool. I have a love-hate relationship with Danganronpa. Having been a long-time fan of puzzle mystery literature, I'm endlessly hypercritical of the mysteries in Dangaronpa, but I can't deny that even if the mysteries in DR aren't exactly good... it sure does a good job of making solving them fun anyway!

Will definitely check this out. :)

the 3D stuff runs really poor on my p30 pro. would guess around 20 fps. maybe better performance on a snapdragon device

I'd just stick to the vita version or ppsspp on android if you want a portable version
