Mafia I remake revealed, Mafia II: Definitive Edition remaster releases today

2K Games announced that they were reviving the Mafia series with a trilogy release, and they've given some more details as to what fans can expect from this new-old release. The first Mafia game is getting remade entirely, in the form of Mafia: Definitive Edition, which will launch August 28th. Those interested in jumping back into the series sooner will be able to grab Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition--both of which are remasters--today, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. All three of the games are also planned for release on the Epic Games Store and Google Stadia at a later date. You can buy each of the games separately, or you can buy all the titles at once as part of the Mafia Trilogy pack.

New features, then. Well, IT IS a definitive edition.
game doesn't appear to have 144hz support, or borderless windowed mode, so i get screen tearing up the ass on my 144hz monitor, even if it's not even able to reach 144fps

OMG Godfather Blackhand Edition was perfect! We need a remake of that on Switch complete with the amazing motion controls!
Yeah it was fun with motion controls throwing guys through windows and all... I also loved Manhunt 2 as it's the Uncut Version I have.. & you motion stab kill ect.. For when I was in sick puppy mode... Good times!

not really going to be a big deal in a title like mafia. This isn't a competitive match of CSGO, LOL.
any game that involves shooting is severely impacted by input lag, especially in a game like this where you die in at little as getting shot 4 times

From T2 description: "The immersive gameplay has been updated to entertain newcomers and old-school fans alike, with added features like a larger Lost Heaven to explore, motorcycles introduced as a new vehicle type, collectibles to seek out, and much more." I just hope it won't be simplified in terms of gameplay. No to arcade-like driving like in Mafia III!.. And the race mission has to stay as challenging as it was before! Looking for June 6th for PC gaming Show presentation
