2K Games announced that they were reviving the Mafia series with a trilogy release, and they've given some more details as to what fans can expect from this new-old release. The first Mafia game is getting remade entirely, in the form of Mafia: Definitive Edition, which will launch August 28th. Those interested in jumping back into the series sooner will be able to grab Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition--both of which are remasters--today, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. All three of the games are also planned for release on the Epic Games Store and Google Stadia at a later date. You can buy each of the games separately, or you can buy all the titles at once as part of the Mafia Trilogy pack.

Definitely interested in Mafia 1 remake, that game needs it.

Same company, why not remake GTA 1 and 2 in full 3D would be awesome.

tbh they didnt age like you would remenber it, they barely have any missions compared to the new ones, so making a full blown gta that you could finish in a 5 or 6 hours would seem kinda pointless, they will need to add alot and i mean alot of sidestuff or basicaly add way more missions and it wouldnt be gta one or 2 anymore but an whole diferent game.

i liked mafia 2 on xbox was a decent Gangsta Game ,,.. never played the 1st one & im going to definitely grab this .......... i like the Godfather Black hand edition on WII years ago ...

I think if they remade 1 and 2 bundled them together sold them on like the Switch it'd be fine. They would easily make their money back. I guarantee it'd sell 10x more copies than Mafia.

gta one features 3 citys
They are Liberty City (New York City), San Andreas (San Francisco), and Vice City (Miami).

gta 2 uses a custom city not based on any real city called anywhere city

Mafia 1 was so bland although it was already 3D, but if they can remake that they could come up with something.

Dan Houser recently left Rockstar so the future of GTA is pretty bleak. I'm sure they'll attempt a 6 at some point but I just don't know if it'll be as good.

for those who are hunting for downgraded cheap codes for the free upgrade and cheaper purchase of the definitives. MII was hovering at time of purchase 4:20pm bst was 9.60 cheapest & MIII was around 7.00. both definitives at time of writing is around 25.99 each. massive savings and for all those who already own 1 or both games. Thank 2K for offering the free upgrade programme.
