SX Core and SX Lite being shipped to reviewers and testers, retail packaging revealed

SXCoreSXLite.png

TX have today announced they have shipped out samples of both their SX Core and SX Lite modchips to the previously selected reviewers and testers.[prebreak][/prebreak]
  • SX Core is compatible with all Switch regular models, whether they are Mariko, patched or unpatched.
  • SX Lite is for all Switch Lite.
  • All firmwares are supported for both regular and lite versions.
  • SX OS license is included with both models.
As we indicated before, both products require soldering. With the help of that large panel of reviewers, we will finetune installation diagrams, correct any bug they might encounter so you have a great experience with our product from day 1.

We are proud of the hard work behind these products and we also can't wait to ship to retailers so all Team Xecuter supporters can enjoy a fully unlocked Switch regardless of the model they have.

If you can solder, we recommend placing your preorder now as demand will be massive (but don't worry, just for May we have already large stocks ready to ship).

If you are not comfortable with soldering, please wait for a installer near you to receive stocks so he can install it for you. Installers will also offer pre-installed consoles so you have all ready at once if you do not own a Switch yet.
Unfortunately for the less experienced modders, some soldering will be required, but we should hopefully have more information as reviewers and testers receive their samples. Until then, TX reminds you to stay safe and get ready to enjoy, releasing some exciting pictures of the retail packaging!

Will there be an upgraded dongle version for newer consoles in the future, or is THIS the future? Not including shipping and assuming the customer provides the console, do we know how much installers would charge for installation?
We base our prices on the difficulty of the install. Currently, nobody knows how it's installed, so there really is no telling. Also, supply and demand cause fluctuation in price. I use to charge a premium for hard mod installs and people were sending them in daily, I think one week I nearly did 75. The post office was pissed!

they said the install is similar to that of current mod chip installs in unpatched switches so how much for a job like that
and what part of the country are you located in?

Georgia and what current modchip? There isn't one as far as I know, but I've only been interested in the release of this one. I've been using TX products since the OG Xbox...

Any one know of possible install service/pre installed units in the UK? My previous soldering attempts have been mixed at best.
I hope he doesn't mind me mentioning, but I'd recommend @mattytrog on these boards.
He fitted a trinket for me a while back and he's very trustworthy and good at what he does.
Having said that though, I can't say whether he's interested in picking up this work when it comes of course, that's up to him., but it maybe worth giving him a DM.

Yup +1 on the god that is @mattytrog although he's currently m.i.a. and I'm a little concerned tbh

(sorry off topic)
how long has he been missing because hes usually quite active on gbatemp? I know hes a British member like us I do know he lives not to far from me I don't know him personally but its sad if there is a problem we have to look out for each other, united kingdom. Has he got underlying health conditions?

He's not been here for nearly 4 weeks, he always responds to emails promptly (always) and he never replied to me a couple of weeks back. Quite worried tbh as he's normally very prompt.

That's not good at all! Your right, he usually responds to messages very quickly I do know this virus is quite rampant at the moment around the Midlands/West Midlands area I do hope he's ok and not fallen ill. I think that's great for your concern, it's nice when we show concern for one another especially locals like ourselves. You will have to let me know if you here anything?
