I own an original cartridge of ACNH and because I've got a modded switch I also have a non-legit save on my emuNand (with 90dns and serial scraped), I never used the cartridge on emuNand...
Because of cheats and save editor i mosty play on emuNand and my legit save is still in the very beginning.
Now I want to try to inject the deviceSave from emunand to sysnand and I'm here to check:
1) is it safe? there's something I must delete from the save to make it safer? (I've just flagged as received all the item and DIY with a save editor)
2) maybe this is not the best thread to ask but, what's the tool to inject a device save from emu to sysnand? I use JKSV for saving extractions

1. It's most likely not safe. I don't recommend transferring your EmuNAND save to SysNAND.
2. You still use JKSV. You backup your save on EmuNAND then switch to SysNAND CFW and use JKSV to restore your save.

Thanks for the quick reply!
the chance of a ban is too high? there's any way to mod on sysNand?
I almost finished terraforming my island and I want to import some custom design via creator codes and, maybe, start to enjoy multiplayer on sysnand on my pimped out island :P
There's any other method to import custom designs to emuNand from a creator code without using Nintendo Online?

Yeah, it's a high chance of being banned. You can mod in SysNand CFW, but you won't have your EmuNAND save. Also it might "dirty" your SysNAND and the next time you go online Nintendo might see that your SysNAND is dirty.

I think there is a way to import custom designs without going online. There's a thread about it somewhere here. You'll have to find it, sorry. I don't really use custom designs.

Yeah you probably will. Changing your name in NHSE isn't reliable yet. From what I heard from other people, changing your name causes you to not be a resident in your island anymore.

From my experinces offline, changing your VILLAGER name, at least in slot 0, does not treat you as a 2nd villager, at least from my experiences. Still can sell and do representatives kit

Just ISLAND names cause ownership conflicts. Still, going online with the change is just tempting, but the fear of banning is relevant. There's not enough information to gauge, hence why I asked here if anyone else atempted this

Theoretically speaking, if there was a cheat file in sdmc/atmoshere/contents/01006F8002326000/ and EdiZon detected it but didn't have any cheats activated, would it still be flagged for banning when going online?

Yeah probably. Edizon would be detected even if there are no actual cheats activated.

Can you safely trade items between a legit console and a banned one? The CFW consoles save wasnt modified in any way. Im asking since I plan to buy a legit non banned Switch with animal crossing and I wouldnt want my stuff to go to waste.

Not quite a ban, but I noticed that if I used my legit copy of the game on an unmodified Switch Lite to visit someone's island on a non-legit copy of the game via local multiplayer, no rare fish or bugs would spawn on their island. If I then flew to someone else's island on a legit copy of the game, rare fish and bugs would appear again.

Hi Friends

I have a question regarding running hacks on a so far clean switch.

Would running Edizon overlay to spawn a desired villager on a mystery island whilst my switch was offline/airplane mode leave any traces that could be detected and thus result in a ban?

I have so far traded lots of NMTs and resources etc from my Banned switch to my clean switch without issue, but was wanting to get a specific villager that has no traces of previous islands.

No one knows. There is always a risk.

Yeah probably. Edizon would be detected even if there are no actual cheats activated.
Running edizon alone (or any other homebrews) isn't a risk of getting banned. Modding your saves and/or running cheats on games that you then connect online is.

Those who have traded items from a hacked switch to a legit switch:
  • Was your hacked switch banned before?
  • No
  • Is your hacked switch banned now?
  • Yes
  • Did your legit switch get banned?
  • No
  • What kind of items did you trade?
  • Crowns/NMTs/Golden Nuggets
  • Were the items unavailable in the game?
  • No
  • Did you use Bells/Nook Cheats?
  • No
  • Did you use a Save Editor?
  • No
  • Which version of ACNH did you use?
  • 1.2.0a
I know the reason I was banned, I was visiting peoples islands from my switch running CFW.

I did make sure to use the cheats only on my island thinking that might lessen my chance of being caught.

I was using the edizon overlay.

Guess I'll have to go back to trading locally and selling from my clean Switch

Hi guys I've got a question: can I play local multiplayer with my hacked switch connected to my girlfriend's legit nonhacked switch? Would she get banned if she tried to go online later without me?

Also, when playing local multiplayer, if I gave her extra bells from time to time, would that warrant a ban?

Id like to play with her and occasionally help her out a little, but not if it's going to risk her legit switch becoming banned.

I have a hacked banned switch with a copy of ACNH on my emunand. I’m planning on buying a second switch for online play and so would buy a physical copy of the game, is it possible to transfer the save from my hacked switch over to the physical game on a new switch?

I have never used save editor on the game but have manually updated it and the BCATs (I don’t know if this would have an effect on the chance of the new console being banned)

You can only transfer the save if the new Switch is also hackable.

So, here's my personal question here.
Legit Switch with a legit ACNH, never modded my games nor used mods in general so just minding my own business. Today a friend online wanted to give me bells to pay off my debt with nook and he brought me a lot of golden nuggets all at once. I didn't think too much of it until I realized 20x30 gold nuggets were a bit strange to have, so I'm wondering if his copy of the game was actually an hacked one.
If so (I have 0 proof of that at the end) will I get banned for having an hacked item on a legit unbanned Switch, and a legit copy of the game?
