IIRC @masagrator made a nice tutorial for doing 60 fps patch awhile back. So you (or anyone) can try yourself.
@masagrator Can't help but notice that you're good at these types of mods/patches and I see that you have been put in a tough situation recently. I'd happily donate you X amount of money in advance (whatever you feel is enough within reason) to make it worth your while to look into attempting this to help both you and the community who are interested in it. Let me know your thoughts.
Edit: Just to clarify I'm not insisting the mod has to be "made" as I understand there are sometimes issues, but I guess it's more for your time to look into it properly to see if it do-able and then make it if so.

Please don't donate to this person, he has a stick shoved so far up his ass that he couldn't even say thank you after being offered free money. No one said he's going to make anything, save your money for when someone actually does make AC 60fps.

Oh, irony. Ko-fi donations are "voluntary". If you pay me money and expect from me something, then you have gone to wrong house. I'm donating also to other people through ko-fi and patreon and never thinking about taking advantage of this (still don't have a donator badge in RetroNX Discord channel).

The reason it's pathetic is because you're begging for money online.. on gbatemp, too, of all places. All I said is that you're not polite, at all, and you couldn't say thank you to someone offering you money or a gift. Instead the only response you could offer was some nerdy-ass line of "do as you wish." I don't care about your donator badges or whatever you do online.
This wasn't an implication that I want money or also need to beg for money online by putting ko-fi links on my profiles.

You're only here to draw attention to yourself even though you've already stated you have nothing to offer. I'm afraid this doesn't really give me much to go with since it doesn't answer my offer to make the mod. I was more looking for - if I gave you a lump sum of your choice would you work on it? Yes or no?
I'm working on it regardless of if someone will pay me or not.
And paying me won't give AC any priority.

Well, because some idiot triggered me, I have enough of doing more research. Project is officially dead from my side.
I'm releasing it here what I have found until now. It's for 1.1.4, I'm not planning to port it to 1.2.0.
Known issues:
- 2x speed movement of MC (I have found limiter, but it looks wanky and it would be better to find movement speed. I saw one cheat that was responsible for changing speed movement, but changing it to 0.5x doubled GPU usage, so it's not good)
- Every HUD element is 2x faster
- NPC speech is desynchronized with their mimics (audio is around 1.5x longer)
- Intro video is frameskipping because of no vsync detection
What has been done:
- Forcing nvnWindowSetPresentInterval to be always 1
- NOPed double buffer
- NOPed one condition just in case to not have issues with render vsync desynchronization
- Doubled some values that were shared also by BoTW that may be related to physics
- Changed global model animation speed to half
- Changed loading and saving icon speed to half
it didn't go any stability tests, so be aware that save can be corrupted, some events may not work, etc.
And absolutely don't go online with this mod.
