Yes exactly, but if you want to follow the 100% safe route, you need to use the regular Haxchi Installer to uinstall Haxchi. Do you only have 1 Installer on the SD Card?

I did however I just downloaded Haxchi standalone and put them on the SD card. looks like this now:

sd-file-system.jpg

I made the compiled Haxchi and coldboot folder Temp. So if I run Haxchi from the Wii U now it should be able to unistall the Hxchi now and not the CBHC.

Sound right to you @XaneTenshi ?

So now I am in the installer on the regular Haxchi and when I select Brain Age the options are as follows:

No-Uninstall.jpg

No option to uninstall just says to delete and reinstall the game...

Here is a screenshot of data management:

data-managment.jpg

Just Haxchi and Homebrew there

Alright, that makes things easier. It wasn't a waste to get the Installer either, because you need to install regular Haxchi first before Coldboot Haxchi. You just need to delete it under Data Management and your good to go

Uninstalled from Data Management.

Folder DO NOT TOUCH was now empty. Deleted Folder.

Rebooted

I cannot get the registered user deleted but it is not the primary account now.

The password is saved to the original account but I need the password to delete the account. Cannot "I forgot" because it will just email the person I bought it from...

You think just reformatting the WII U now will get me back to a stock state with no-one registered to it so I can start my clean install tonight?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also with everything uninstalled but not reformatted am I able to sign into the E-shop with the other owners information and go see if I can look at their profile?

Homebrew is still a installed channel a swell right now. Is it safe to go into the eshop?

It would be great if I could get the persons real name!

Yes, reformatting to stock should delete the registered User and allow you to start from scratch.

Before you do anything else, go check out the e-shop and see if you actually can get access. You won't need the password, but I just realized that if his account is banned (REALLY low chance, but still), you are going to have a rough time re-downloading Brain Age. Just check that quickly. Darn, I should have thought of that:glare:

I was able to log into the eshop.

I am transferring off a game real quick then I am going to format and wipe.

I will follow the guide and start from scratch after that I will be much more familiar with this process. Your assistance has been so much appreciated, Thank you

Question...If I Nanddumped prior to the format do I need to do it again? Any chance those files have changed?

if you intend to install cbhc, there's only one file that's changed. you can fix it with the otp.bin and a nand backup. I would make another backup, so you don't encounter issues with the account. tickets are carried in the slc partition + most likely user accounts. you could still theoretically fix a cbhc brick, but you'd have to reformat and add in your account info again. that's just speculation though.

@godreborn Thank you for the reply.

We have Success! All installed.

And to verify it looks like I format a USB drive and I can run WUPInstaller to install my games to either the NAND or the USB drive.

Thats it?

Can I format and leave plugged in a 2 TB drive to WUPInstall the games to?

All up and running thank you so damn much for your help @XaneTenshi !

Your welcome, glad to hear things worked outB-)

Yes, you can format a USB Drive using the Wii U's own formatting tool (it should ask once you pop the USB Drive in) and that'll work just fine.

There should be no issues leaving the USB Drive plugged in. I have a 1 TB Drive myself and that works wonders. Just remember that if the Drive is not externally powered, you are likely gonna need a Y-Cable to provide enough Power for the Hard Drive to function properly, as a single USB Port just doesn't provide enough power on it's own

you don't have to hold home to get the menu. you can just press it when autobooting appears.
