Any updates on the issue?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Looks like a permission issue. That's weird. If that's the case I don't think anything can be written to flash0. I'll try to fix this as it basically renders the whole flash browsing useless.

Any updates?

That would be awesome!!!:)
Hmm, this is a bit weird. I can read/write to flash0, flash1 and flash3 (previously this wasn't possible), but I can't write anything to flash2. When you access flash2 do you see any files/folders? For me I don't see anything. Also the real move functionality won't work in flash since sceIoDevctl does not work on flash. You'll have to copy then delete.

Yes I can see all the files including the act.dat and I can copy it to the memory card. I haven't tried the move function yet. Thank you for spending time on this.

Due to covid-19 restrictions here in Greece, I finally got to jailbrerak my Vita and now I just downloaded all your great tools from VitaDB!!!!! I really like the PSV VSH menu and now I am going to try out your other cool tools!!!

New version is up: https://github.com/joel16/CMFileManager-PSP/releases/tag/v3.30

Let me know if you can write to flash2. I don't see anything in my flash2, and unfortunately cannot write to it. However I can (now) write data to flash0, flash1 and flash3. The release has some other QOL changes as well like small icon display:

Awesome!!! Thank you!!!! I will try it asap and post back the results!!!

EDIT: I just tried it, but still no luck. Here are some screenshots of the error code when I try to delete the act.dat file from flash2.

Opps didn't know you edited. Well this is weird, the changes I made fixed writing data to every other flash device except flash2. I'm not sure what's so special about it. I'll try messing around with it again once I get some time but for now I'm not sure why its doing this.

Thank you Joel, I hope you can find a solution. I just want to be able to manipulate the act.dat file in order to play my games from my two accounts, without the need of a PC.

It's been quite a while since I've come here and reported something. Oh well, Joel-san do you remember that I reported that when I tried to open the MUSIC folder it crashed? Well, after your last release I've tried it again, to tell you the truth I was testing and recording a video of it for something later and then I tried to go to the MUSIC folder again, for my surprise it opened well but it crashed right after, then I remembered that I had already reported that and it was a weird situation and after some time testing here I could pinpoint the issue and it might happen that you already know it as it is funny and kinda obvious.

I would explain every step that I did but it takes to long and it's unecessary, unless you want me to.
Here's the situation: inside the MUSIC folder I had a lot of other music folders named properly with their respectives names... I'll use this one that I used to the tests.
The folder with the music files was named exactly like this: The Birthday (2008.07.09) MOTEL RADIO SiXTY SiX
Because of the (2008.07.09) it crashed. Why? I don't know, maybe you can try to explain but I have my theories. So what? The (2008.07.09) which is the date of the album cannot in any way be at the start or the middle of the file's name, it can only be (if there is) at the end of the name or it will crash every time that you try to enter in the folder with that folder inside.
So the folder's name should always be exactly like this: The Birthday - MOTEL RADIO SiXTY SiX (2008.07.09)

As I said, it's something kinda stupid but... if no one has ever report something about it (I know only I did), here's the fix for the issue. I have tried it with some more folders and it always have the same results, you can test it too so you can be sure about it.

That is rather weird. It could be an internal problem with sceIoDopen or SceDread. I'm glad you managed to come up with a work around. If this is an internal problem with Sony's fs functions then I don't think I can fix it. I'll try to investigate and if it's not a problem with the internal functions I'll try to come up with something. Thanks for letting me know!

I hope that something can be done about it, although is not something that great but there is some weird conflict going on. Anyway, just avoid naming folders like that and it should be no problem.
By the way, no problem, I'm just doing my normal stuff.

Joel-san, I would like to inform you that I've recorded and uploaded a video showing this homebrew and also showing its features plus an FTP tutorial in my native language (there's TechJames for English already), don't expect too much of a feedback in there since I don't know but there aren't many Brazilians that are some enthusiasts like me about the PSP, also my channel is almost inexistent, but at least if someone wants to know about the homebrew or any PSP content in my country, I'm the one doing that stuff. .

Thanks! Appreciate you spreading the word about this. I still have one more update planned for this project.

I think I know why that's being caused because it tried to mount flash0, after you already mounted it by browsing flash0. If you don't open flash0 and you open FTP I don't think the errors will show up. What exactly are you trying to do by the way?

Regardless, this bug should get fixed in the next release.

I mean, when I enter the file manager I used to press start and enable FPT connection, but now it decided not work, and I haven´t modified anything on the flash0 memory.
I don't know why that happens to me suddenly.

Thanks for your answer, hope you fix it in a future version.

You don't need to modify anything I can see on your screenshot you are browsing flash0:/, so I was wondering just to make sure if you don't open flash0:/ and go straight to FTP, does this error still show up?
