TX Announce Preorders for SX CORE and SX LITE

Team-Xecuter has announced that pre-orders are starting TODAY for their new Switch mod-chips.

We even get a extra treat, finally a clear picture of their SX LITE installed in a Switch Lite motherboard, as you can see in the photo above, and also the pricing is only $45.95 and includes their SX OS license, but you can use other CFW as well, and looks like the selected testers will finally be getting their units by end of next week, so lots of good news all around! :)
First of all, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy during this global pandemic that has hit our civilization hard.

We got many questions about the current status of our new products, and after many hurdles we are excited to announce we will be opening up preorders for our SX Core and SX Lite products starting today.

Just like the SX Pro, the retail price for the SX Core and SX Lite is currently fixed at $45.95 and comes with a free SX OS License (although you are free to not use SX OS, of course).

All distributors and vendors will start taking preorders in the next hours/days. We want to give you this heads up to give everyone an equal opportunity to be among the first to receive their retail copy of the next generation of Team Xecuter's finest products for your beloved Switch consoles!

Those of you who were selected for the private beta (you know who you are!) should get their review units shipped towards the end of next week. After their sanity check and feedback are in we will ramp up production and strive to deliver the retail preorders around the end of April.
So for now, the wait is finally almost over, we can now starting ordering our modchips, and soon we will see first-hand feedback from selected testers that will be getting their units soon, so stay tuned for more news soon!

that is un-official Twitter - not related to TX officially. -- The only official sources is the front page of TX website, the official posts on their community forums, and the official TX chat server, all of which sadly I can not link to here.

You seem to be in the know... perhaps ask so there is official confirmation? This releasing info in drips and drabs is really getting old. And asking people to preorder before knowing any info :D

And why do you want longer games? To be bored, dump it for next 6 months until you will get enough energy to continue? Or you like to play multiple times the same game? I prefer to end game before starting next one. And I like to absorb main story, which has best writing. Side quests in most titles are boring, idiotic or/and embarassing and some games require me to do them if I don't want be in trouble in later parts. Games are for people to enjoy them, not for devs to force me to do what they want me to do.

actually people do like playing the same game, me included lol, i could play mario galaxy 1 and 2 tons of times and not get bored

I know that this kind of people exists, I also liked some time ago go back to first Mafia from time to time. But this is a sign that you have issues with finding now games good enough to forget about classics. But from when I stopped tryharding to get "maximum experience" from every game and just focus on story, I never went back to Mafia from that moment. I have started to like diversity/unknown over stability/stagnation. And I won't stop doing that because some anon treats games as something sacred and for them exists only one sure way of playing.

I don't mind old games if they have good story. ;)
It doesn't matter from what year it is, for now if it's on the Switch or can be emulated on it, I will play it. But I don't have an itch to go back to finished games. And god forbid if this day will happen.

if it was like $25 id buy it, but as it stands im not gonna do that as i already have a license

i agree with this lol, selling tools to pirate games is just retarded

yet there have been companies selling piracy assistance tools since the 1980s.. something you may not realise, but not everyone is technically inclined - which is why there have been commerically available tools to copy tapes, carts and discs for the best part of 40+ years. Did you ever have a satbox, or parents pay for the cable guy to "hook them up".. the retarded comments are coming from people who have no idea of what has happened in the past and think just because THEY have the technical knowledge to do things, EVERYONE can do those same things.

Sweet! I love soldering!
I'm gonna need to start practicing. Haven't soldered anything since the hard mod for dumping the 3DS nand came out

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Which one is that? I thought you needed an early firmware with that one?
it was the one where they said that there will be a soldered and solder-less exploit. but then the RCM bug was found and they put their soldered exploit on hold. It's a good thing they did or else we wouldn't have a way to hack ipatched and markio units.

Would installation be...simple? Even for someone who's never hard-modded anything before, and whose only experience messing with internal components was putting a larger SSD into my Lenovo Legion laptop?

I wonder how much soldering it will use, or if itll use soldering in the first place! I guess the only way to find out is patience.
