Is it really worth spending this money on Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Cause I see loads and loads of people enjoying it, finding it relaxing, but i'm still having doubts

I do no longer appear to be online on my unhacked, untouched Switch, for friends in Animal Crossing.

I can still play SMM2 online multiplayer, after a router reboot. I can also still send messages to friends in AC, but not receive because I appear to be offline.

Anything I might be missing here? Some kind of Icognito mode on the Switch? I tried both over WiFi and USB Ethernet.

No Online is kinda useless. If you fly to someone, they cant do shit. Online just stops you from doing most things.

I currently on Day 4 or 5, but I am unsure what to do right now, since you cant do much.I can run on Mile-Tickets non stop, but mile-Tickets never generate good islands. You get the same 3 Islands every day =/

Is that confirmed? I guess there are more island to explore than just 3...

I built a spreadsheet for fishing/hunting so that you can be sure not to miss what's leaving at the end of the month. To use the filters you probably have to save it to your own Drive account.

And here's how to use it:

1.Save it to your own google account (I don't think you can filter it if you don't). On desktop, this is the Drive+ icon in the upper left.

2.To find what fish are available now, filter the current month to only show "yes" values.

3.To find out what fish are leaving at the end of the month, also filter next month's values to only show "no"

example: To only see fish that are available in March and gone in April, filter March to show "yes" and April to show "no"

You can filter timeframes, locations, and sale values as well.

Bugs are included. I'm only doing Northern Hemisphere. Sorry Aussies.

If you have a hacked Switch you could always try it first to see if it's worth the money.

If not have you ever played a 'lifestyle' game before, like Stardew, Fantasy life, Harvest moon etc; it's slightly different but in the same ball park.

AC:NH is not for everyone, at all. It's a slow burning ultra pacifist, crafting game essentially. As such there is a very specific type of audience. It is rewarding in a longterm goal kind of way but you are essentially playing just to create your own goals and direction. It's not for the impatient, or action focussed gamer.

Maybe watch a 'let's play', and if it bores you to tears then playing the game is unlikely to change that.

I’m someone who’s never played an Animal Crossing game, but I dig Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley a lot. I definitely don’t dislike the general style. Think this is a worthy pick up for my situation?

Its a bit different from stardew and harvest moon but it's also a life simulation. So the chances are good that you will find it entertaining.

Bunny Day is starting to piss me off. Fishing is pretty much ruined as all you catch are eggs now. Took me forever just to complete a simple "Catch 5 Fish" Nook Miles+ objective.

Yeah it's super annoying, making me want to play the game less than I normally would. Does anybody know if we'll be able to turn these stupid eggs in for decent rewards at the end of this? Or should I just get rid of them any way I can?

If the version notation at the top right of the software title screen is "Ver. 1.1.4" or "Ver. 1.1.4a", it has been updated.

Bug fixes
Fixed a bug that caused Rex Kurushima to receive "Platinum Kogane" and pass different items to different models.
<Correspondence with the save data in which the problem occurs>
After the update, pass the "Platinum Kogane" to Rex again, and you will receive the correct model.

Balance adjustment
During the Easter event, the appearance rate of some eggs has been adjusted until April 11, 2020.
Eggs are easier to collect on the day of Easter (April 12, 2020).
