Actively eschewing all previously known methods of Nintendo Directs, Nintendo has decided to randomly upload a mini version of their Direct, with no forewarning. The video is 30 minutes long and features multiple announcements, which will be recapped here shortly.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition launches May 29th.

Borderlands, Bioshock, and XCOM hit the Switch. Borderlands Legendary Collection and XCOM 2 launch on May 29th. Borderland's release includes 1, 2, and pre-sequel, XCOM 2 will include its DLC.

The Nintendo Direct Mini also revealed upcoming content for currently available Nintendo Switch games like a free update for Ring Fit Adventure, more details about the upcoming paid DLC for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, as well as news that the first fighter in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 is arriving from the ARMS game.

The ARMS Smash thing is interesting, as they showed all of the characters but not which one it is. That makes me think maybe it's all of them, through alts or something like that.

though, I don't like the hat guy, he already feel like a villain that will reveal himself at the end of the game. (squarenix, really? how many times you did that?)

I'm also wondering why they felt the need to show the end/after credit of xenoblade... it's like movie trailers when you see the end without knowing it, so annoying. they also quickly spoiled the story with one of their video.
The "new chapter" is only after you complete the game?
The shoulder map was originally included in the Wii version, but not completed, with no story, NPC or enemies, and no official way to reach it without cheats.

sometime I want to play that game again, I guess I'll do it on Switch.
I'm not liking their "new and easy to use" menu. but, oh, well, I'll get use to it.

I'm the only who hates the new graphics of the Xenoblade Remake? I mean they use the same anime ones from the XBC2 and that made the game feels more childish comparing to the first game. I hope in the future the modders repair this.

Burnout Paradise Remastered contains all the DLC released for the original games plus visual tweaks and improvements. On other platforms it featured resolution upgrades and 60 fps gameplay and it has been confirmed via the official press release that the Nintendo Switch version will feature the same framerate and bespoke 'pinch-and-pull' map control, too, so hopefully the Switch version will stack up favourably against the two-year-old versions on more powerful platforms.

We have seen time and time again about poor quality ports, rushed ports, ect, that have really poor performance.
Well thats some good news anyway, the graphics did take a hit though.

We also saw time and time again about impressive ports that pushed the platform to its limits and in rare cases even surpassed more powerful consoles in visual fidelity (Alien Isolation for example). It's a case by case thing, overall.
