I use Filezilla to FTP shit over to me console.

FATX doesn't support long filenames iirc, those games that have long filenames/illegal characters have to be converted to GOD containers.

best way is probably a direct connection via ethernet or a direct cable. you should be able to get up to 10MB/s
yeah i transfer with direct connection and always have perfect speed..but as i was saying, the issue isnt the speed but the fact that it gets an error for some files.

Right on!
i also actually use Filezilla hehe but i was still getting the error, as you said, fatx etc..
..so, whati did, is take the 4 specific files that wasnt getting to the box, renamed them, transfered them, renamed them.

Everything works as intended so i guess it was just for this game :P (ElChavo racing)

Tbh just buy a 64gb flash drive, and a 2tb 2.5 sata HDD (or a fire cuda sshd would optimal) I find transferring USB to to be quickest for me, ftp takes 1-2 hours/10 GB for me, with a a good flash drive or external hdd, it takes 10- 20 min tops to transfer to Internal HDD, or just boot straight from USB which is convenient for me, I use neighborhood for small things under 250MB or so, and to launch/switch titles and reset the box

I don't think you can transfer over a 0KB file if that's the size of the corrupted files. it should error in both FSD (probably Aurora too) and filezilla.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
