Is it just me or are there no more hot games coming out for our beloved console?

I mean Outer World seems to be alright and the new Zelda is something else to look forward to but apart from that?

Is the Switch already moving towards the end of its life cycle?

Animal Crossing New Horizons, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3
Nintendo has the weird tradition of announcing most of their games when they are near to their launch, just wait for the next direct/E3

Not sure what's weird about announcing games when they're ready for a launch, or at least close to a launch.

Would you rather Nintendo announce games once development is 100% complete, or would you rather Nintendo announce games the moment develpment begins? If I recall correctly, Nintendo tried announcing Metroid Prime 4 the moment development begun, and about some time later, it was announced that development had to restart.

There hasn't been a Direct in a while, I'm sure that we'll shortly find out about more big releases coming up.

I mostly like the games because it's fun to just relax and chill out. The atmosphere and music are welcoming and sometimes I'm not really in the mood for a very action-y game, so I just retreat to my town to work on some projects or decorate my house or something. That said, I can definitely get people not liking the game because of the low pace; not everyone is interested in a game where not many "exciting" things happen.

I'm kinda new to Nintendo because I mostly had a Sony product for the last 14 years and recently went to Microsoft. Nintendo seem to really heavily rely on their older games which is why they are always full price. Also outside of Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, and Smash Bros what game can they really develop?

Sometimes I think Nintendo run out of ideas which is why they remaster most of the games

It really just depends what you're into. Project Diva came out today, which is a big release for me. Animal Crossing is coming soon, Pokemon always has something on the horizon, and we know that Metroid and Zelda are being worked on.

Also I'm still waiting for Shin Megami Tensei V, which was the whole reason why I originally bought a Switch

I still have my PS4 it just haven't been used since August. I like games like Forza, Halo, Gears and etc.. it's my first time with the Xbox since I bought the Xbox 1 S with the Gamepass and EA pass. I feel like Sony had dropped the ball I will say that Sony has the better hardware but when it comes to Game pass and Online Xbox is winning. Again I dont't really have beef with Sony since I have 60 PS4 games physical/digital. I was just fedup with the Online and PS Plus which was why I jumped ship.

Theres nothing wrong with them making Mario and etc.. it's just a drag to wait so long for a newer mario/zelda game.
