The previously Nintendo Switch exclusive Daemon X Machina is headed to Steam

header.jpg

A Nintendo Switch game will be losing its exclusivity, and is headed to PC, as shown by the existence of a newly-created Steam Store page. XSEED will be publishing 2019's Daemon X Machina on the PC platform, in less than two weeks. From the producer of the Armored Core series, Daemon X Machina sees you piloting a giant mech, fighting against other machines and upgrading your own tech from the mechanical remains of your foes. The PC port will feature achievements, Steam trading cards, online co-op and PVP, and will release for $59.99 on February 13th, with a temporary launch week discount of 20%.

Game looks so much better. It had horrible performance on the switch.

Having better graphics, higher resolution and 60 FPS will go a long way into making this feel like a whole new experience.

It wasn't that great on Switch, and I really tried to like it ... But at least it will run at 60 fps this time, but if only it would make the gameplay a little faster ..

an i7-6700 and gtx 1060...? why is this so much more cpu intensive than it is GPU, something here smells like bad optimization

... I like it. It's more consumer friendly and more friendly for the devs in the long run. more sales through both platforms. What is there to hate?
Some people have preferred platforms and like to know that if they're buying it on their not favorite platform that it's for a good reason.
Having exclusive games then released elsewhere can feel like wasted money or atleast money not well spent

Steam still owes me money, so I'll stick with buying it on Switch.

Shame they couldn't put it on gog, ms store or their own thing, would've been great to kick off my new PC with it.

I hope it has crossplay so I can convince my PC friends to play with me.

Also, where are they getting those reccomended specs from? Gtx 1060 and 7th gen i7 sound a bit overkill for this game.

Probably some low sales on switch. :ninja:

If that is really the case, then I would think Marvelous Inc (Japan) may have something to do with the sales as they claimed every videos about the game around the time when the game was released. Not having videos about the game would mean less people know about it.

Daemon Ex Machina was D.O.A. because they copyrighted everyone who would repost or make promotional videos of it. Im surprised they havent tried to copyright this post yet.

With a game that looks like this one I don't know how can it really run in a measly i7-6700 with a GTX1060...
I was expecting an i9-9980XE and RTX 2080 Ti as minimum. /s
As in extreme minimum. To run this game at 1080p30fps you need to wait atleast 5 generations for when nvidia releases the 7090ti max oc gamer edition.
