I have an Ntsc Wii U and trying to use it on PAL Sony Trinitron CRT TV. Using Composite cables is just fine except the image quality sucks.

Now when i connect my Scart cable i can get image but unfortunately it is red tinted. The cable is fine cause i also use it on my regular Wii which is PAL region.

My guess is its about Ntsc. So how i can change it to PAL so i can get proper image without red hints.

Cold boot haxchi is already installed on my Wii u.

The Wii and WiiU cannot output RGB in NTSC mode since it uses the same pins for S-Video thus how you end up with everything red. To solve that you need to force PAL60 (PAL 480i 60Hz) in your chosen USB loader.
What is USB loader? Do i need to load games from usb to achieve that. I already have CFW and my legit games.

For games on disc you will need to use neogamma or copy the games to usb and use one of the numerous usb loader apps like cfg usb loader. Or even easier just use hdmi and you wont have any problems

SystemConfigTool may have an option to change the video region (in WiiU mode at least)

It could pay off to build an active YPbPr to RGB converter, though, given YPbPr is the only "universal" video output on a Wii/U

USB Loader GX and Wiiflow can also load from disc, or he can simply use Gecko OS. No need for an obsolete loader like NeoGamma.

My main goal is to play retro games which i buy from Virtual Console. I wanna play them on my CRT so no hdmi.

First i will try SystemConfigTool to see it has some permanent region config.

As for applications to load games i will look into them. Still i dont understand why i need those loaders. Those loader apps have config to change region? Why cant i load the game from internal memory?
