injected Sing 4 - The Hits Edition
with logitech microphone
It works

I just tried with Karaoke Revolution and it does not detect the Microphone.
I would assume is the same for the whole line of Karaoke Revolution games.
Did you do anything special with the inject settings to get it to work with Sing 4?

Ahh Yes!! Sweet Success!!

I've Been dusting off Old Stacks of PC DVD Drives, all night. & Testing them against RawDump.
Already tried like 25 drives with no luck and then pulled a Stack of them With "HL Data Storage" Labels... Low and behold I have
one that is ID'd by the PC & on that list as GDR-8162B HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8162B0015 2600MB/hr UDMA 2 (uou)

As it turns out is the fastest one in any of the lists I've found online,,, I do believe.

It is the first one that did not give the Error box shortly after clicking start dump! Woohoo!
It Detected the DVD Name: SPORTS PACK for REVOLUTION Almost Immediately..

It is currently Ripping away at around 2650MB/hr Exceeding its rated speed.
Already nearly 1G of data read with a little over an hr to go.

So Happy! This calls for a beer... or another Beer!

Which leads me to my next empty beer can!
With RawDump's output ISO file... Do I need to scrub or anything special
before moving on to the injector tool?

I tried to inject a vWii VC game with the 4 letter key thing, yet all I got was "no title tmd!" What am I doing wrong?

Did you go on gametdb.com and get the correct 4 letter key for the particular game? You can't just make one up.

Also you may already know this but you do have to install the game (which will be in .wad format) on the vWii for it to work this injector works as just a forwarder so it can be on the Wii U menu when it comes to Wii VC games.

  • Wii U Title IDs generated based off your game's internal Title ID, NOT randomly generated. Generated Title IDs will never overwrite a legitimate retail title.
What is the algorithm for this?
For instance, I have loaded Wii game with Wii title SW8ENG and it shows an internal ID of "53573845."
Where does it get "53573845" from? I see on the meta options it generates a Title ID of "0005000253573845"
This is clearly the internal ID with "00050002" appended to it. Will that "00050002" always be the same?

Specifically, I'm trying to find out what the titleID for an injected app will be that I have already installed if I am unable to reload the ISO again into the injector app.

Thanks!

EDIT: Figured this out. Here.

Correct

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I don't really know exactly why you're having that problem but I've injected hundreds of games all using the Rhythm Heaven Fever key and I've never changed it, nor do I believe you can change it. There used to be a different format called Loadiine and I believe it's referring to that when talking about the host game but all I know is it's unnecessary to change the key.

The only thing you can do is try a different Iso (even different region) or convert Iso to wbfs or vice versa and retry.

So I'm trying this whole thing for the first time... Yes very late to the game! And I was Looking up the Title Key for each title I was trying to inject and it would tell me each time I pasted the key in the field that it wasn't the right key md5 bla bla something... Are you saying that this Injector tool uses Rhythm Heaven Fever Title Key For any ISO Title I Rip & Inject?

That's correct you only need Rhythm Heaven Fever Title Key as well as whatever the other keys it asks for on the last tab I can't remember what they are right now but you only need to enter them once and your computer will save it in a temp folder so it's a one time thing. If it is telling you you don't have the right keys then you dont have the right keys google will give them to you if you simple google exactly what it asks for they should come up.

This has been covered multiple times you might want to search the thread next time. The injector doesn't accept & symbols so you have to change it to and instead of &, both in the injector name tab and you might have to rename the ISO itself.

That's Crazy! But yep! Thats all it took to get er going! Just about done ripping & transferring my whole Library using that old 2003 LG 8162b drive & this injector script. I think I saw smoke coming out that DVD Drive earlier...Just Kidding!

So just wondering? & I tried to search to no avail. Where does Tmoons save the Title Images it retrieves when you click the button at the bottom? Does it use users temp folder or something?

Yep Just found it. Had to iniate one for it to show up as it deletes them each time... ty

Most likely:
Code:
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\WiiVCInjector

Just in case anyone is looking to get a LGDVD Drive on Ebay. I attempted to purchase an 8164B from a seller in Greece by the name of johnginisrecyclingco. He has his listing rigged to error out of a buy it now transaction by somehow rigging the shipping calculation. Forcing you to Request an Invoice because you can not complete the Transaction. The listing has Item cost in USD was only $6 & The shipping $12.56 to the US. He waits 24hrs to respond so you cannot simply cancel the purchase. Then sends an Invoice for ~ $41 with a S/H cost of $35. It took me 5 or more calls to EBAY over the past week to get this unpaid purchase canceled. AVOID This Fraudulent Seller at all costs. EBAY was less than helpful, allowing this guy to attempt to manipulate me thru this crude LOOPHOLE in the Ebay Shipping Calculation system.

Has anyone here actually been able to inject the Wii Homebrew Channel (FIX94's OHBC version) using TeconMoon's injector or any other? I want to make an HBC vWii forwarder using the "Force Classic Controller Emulation" feature (not the normal Classic Controller emulation), but I can't get it to work at all. I've seen the same issue throughout this thread and in others, the Homebrew Channel boots up, but then it simply blackscreens upon launching any homebrew.

The only solution I've seen is to download somebody else's working HBC injection (i.e. piracy), but that's not useful to me at all because the download that is out there uses normal Classic Controller emulation, not the forced connection. I tried looking at the meta.xml for an injection which used forced CC emulation, but it looks like that feature isn't in meta.xml. I thought maybe it was a separate fw.img patch, so I tried replacing the one in the public HBC injection with one from a working WiiWare injection that has forced emulation, but that simply took me back to black screening upon launching any homebrew.

I guess that means something is going wrong in whatever TeconMoon's injector does or doesn't do to the fw.img file, but there's really nothing I can do with that information.

Can anybody successfully inject OHBC? If so, how?

Made a discovery tonight while going thru a stack of Laptop Slim DVD Rom Drives I had yet to try with Raw & Frii…
Also made by H L Data Storage GCC-4243N & GCC-4244N. Not on the Supported list. Which is Partially Accurate.
Only ones I have tested that Do Not Work with Rawdump But Do work with FriiDump. Albiet Friidump gave a warning
they were Unsupported & would default to Hitachi code or something. They actually Ripped Flawlessly @ 1000m Faster
than 5.25" 8162B Drive Considered the Fastest on the Support List. A Drive I also have.
They Ripped at an impressive 3600MB/h Completing a Single Layer Disc in just over 1hr.
Both Test Rips were verified with md5 Checksums online.
The ISO's were a Perfect Match & Done with the -4 Option Fastest Setting.
